Place is dated outside and was not the cleanest within - food on the floors and round the food stations, looked like no pride was taken in the place. There were even crumbs on the chair when I sat down! Short staffed meaning long waits, no drinks arrived at all and were not made to feel in any way welcome. Food was as expected, nothing to write home about! Wished we had gone elsewhere

Place felt very dirty and very dated. We had some starters which we didn’t eat. Garlic bread soggy and greasy and the cheesy mushrooms tasted disgusting. We didn’t stay for the carvery as the que was massive and we got told we were only allowed an hour at our table. Wouldn’t come here again

Friendly staff, good size carvery’s Kids meat portion could do with being bigger and drinks refill machine is still not working correctly, cannot select the flavours. But overall will recommended and will return. Thank you….

Went this morning because we saw an all you can eat breakfast and thought we would try it. Arrived and had a less than inviting member of staff take our order at the bar, got stung with a bill of £7 for 2 orange juices. Got to the food area to see a pile of congealed hashbrowns, a bowl full of juice with a few beans in, watery half cooked bacon, and a couple of eggs that were swimming in liquid. When you come to a place like this you don't expect 5*, but you'd at least expect a decent full English to be available. No cutlery available, dirty plates left near the tills... overall not good.

Could not fault my visit last night. Drinks served promptly. Choice of 4 meats and could not decide, so had a bit of all 4 (the beef was the best). I'm usually a lover of mash, but the dish was empty and not replenished quick enough, foring me to go with roast potatoes, which in the end turned out to be a delight as they were so tasty and one of the best things on my plate. Veg choice was Cauliflower cheese, cabbage, peas, carrots, leeks. There was even macaroni cheese. Gravey was thick and tastey, just as I liked it, but a thinner variant was also available. Overall a great meal that was excellent value for money, so 5 stars from me.

No Yorkshire puddings. Didn't recognise the difference between the nice or fatty parts of the meat. Poor amount of veg choice We were half way through eating before I had to remind the waiter we hadn’t received them. The place felt grubby. We won’t be returning

Tired and grubby site and entrance was the high standard the rest of the experience couldnt live up to... Waiting staff were trying but the food was awful. Asked for turkey and recieved a ensemble of minute shavings. Poor selection of vegetables One type of toast potato ,no beef fat roasties ! However i was fooled by a substitute murking in its place inedable dumpling things. The Yorkshire puddings even though a new tray was brought to the party alas were undercooked and luke warm. The rest of the offerings were also luke warm at best including the gravy .Indeed the only things that were hot was the servng utensils. But to top off was the visit to the toilets which would make any hardened festival goer reach. Overall nil point. Life is short so avoid.

Food was amazing great selection of veg, potatoes and even Mac & cheese… pigs and blankets are awesome. Was deffo worth the money and would 100% go back. Staff are helpful, especially one member of staff who was showing people there tables (didn’t catch the name though).

Decided to call here for the first time in ages and was told there wasn't room for us despite lots of empty tables I thought maybe they were reserved. The lady was rude and unhelpful. We decided to call again a week later to again be turned away because we hadn't booked a table which we hadn't been told we needed to do, we would of done had we known, the booking system allowed us to book but they still wouldn't allow us in. The staff are very rude and unhelpful. We won't be returning again.

This place is awful, the place us pretty filthy. Upon entering, it says 'please wait here to be seated" staff looked at us and ignored us.. then told us we'd sat in the wrong place because we didn't wait to be seated... We ordered 2 standard carveries & 2 kids... I couldn't even tell you what some of the 'vege' was.. it looked revolting. So we chose the bits that looked edible. It was cold, greasy, gravy was lumpy, roasties were burned, Yorkshire puds were flat and greasy... it wasn't nice at all. Won't be back!

Very disappointing. Party of 12. Table booked in advance. Ran out of Turkey Pork and Gammon meat by 7pm, so only beef was available. Table was sticky. Floor was dirty, dropped food around thr carvery area. We waited 15 minutes for knives to be provided, even though requested 3 times. Told rather abruptly at 8.50pm that they "close at 9pm!" - so we left and will not be going back! Shame, as we have had much better service on previous visits.

Disgusting dirty floors and tables. No knives, waited 15 mins after our food for them. No apologies from management. Harley any meat! Booked for 6.50 for a group of us. Then rudely told we had 10 mins to leave!
