Best breakfast I've had in ages, belly buster plus 2 extra bacon and 2 extra sausage with toast, fried bread and a proper brew.Everything was good quality and very well cooked. Even the beans were piping hot too.Will be back whenever I'm working near by.

Great cafe, friendly with good food. Tucked away on an industrial estate so a bit tricky for the sat nav to find, so look for the entrance to the business park.

Thank you for accommodating myself and my partner when we turned up after your closing time last weekend. We were tired and midway through a 70 mile.bike ride and the cup of tea and sausage butty much appreciated. Absolutely lovely welcoming service and we will definitely be back. Thank you again!
Never seen the tables be cleaned (only cleared) and I’ve been in there many times over the passed 6 months, the breakfast foods are always overcooked and very greasy, the burgers aren’t too bad but can see that the kitchen area isn’t the cleanest or most hygienic. Won’t be eating in there again, it’s overpriced compared to a lot of places and would much rather the happy caf on the industrial estate or fruitful deli.

Visited for lunch on recommendation of lady in hardware store. Don't rely on such recommendations. However, maybe there is not much by way of alternatives; all the pubs that I encountered seemed to have the usual offering of pop music and sport TV. Here at the Maltings which is set back behind the High Street in a sort of derelict industrial site, there was a friendly welcome. However, despite best efforts with heaters, it was not very warm, a feeling not improved by the American tablecloths. The fish in my fish&chips was of the frozen, micro-waved type and pre-buttered white sliced bread did not help. For a while I envied the man at an adjacent table who had ordered the pie but he left the top and rather indicated when his plate was collected that it was not tops with him. A bit pricey for what I got, so not as good value as might be thought.

Stopped at this place on Carnival day for lunch with 3 other people. We ordered 1 jumbo breakfast, omelette and chips, burger and chips, a slice of coffee cake and 2 banana milkshakes. The breakfast arrived 10 minutes before the rest of the food and was very enjoyable. Next out was the omelette and the burger. The omelette was fine but the burger came out blood red and uncooked in the middle so we sent it back, it then came back to the table 5 minutes later in a fresh bun (the same beef burger) having been back on the grill. So after a bite had been taken from the burger it had been put back on the grill! Gross Then after asking we got a slice off coffee cake and it was mouldy and we had to send it back! The owner came over to speak to us and asked us if everything was ok and was upset to find out that everything was not ok. She then went on to tell us how hard it was to cook a burger and that she had only ever had one returned before. (never heard of a temperature probe) She gave us a £5 refund off our £18 bill! We will not be going back!!!!!
