Soulton Rd, Wem, ShrewsburyShame it’s only a flying visit for me, not local sadly, popped in for a take out coffee, and ended up with the most delicious fish finger and silly cheese bap?and quality coffee. Chatting with the owner who clearly has passion for her business (I’m in the same industry and very jealous)?so if you are passing by or aiming for the industrial estate in Wem Shrewsbury… I INSIST you pay these lovely ladies a visit, you won’t be disappointed. Lovely, friendly and very reasonably priced food and drinks

The New Maltings Cafe Wem
15 Wem Business Park, New St, Wem, ShrewsburyAs a cheap and cheerful pit stop on a cycling route it's great. Nothing fancy, set at the end of Wem industrial estate, straight forward food, instant coffee, but cheap (£5.60 for cheese on toast and a coffee) and owner friendly. Will be back!

A Waterside Cafe at Whixall Marina
Alders Ln, Whixall, WhitchurchClassic café in a lovely spot. Breakfast was bog standard but no complaints, it was exactly what we were looking for. Drinks were a bit pricey but food was good value, and plenty of parking.
