I placed an order at 7:15pm, assured delivery at 8:25 to 8:45pm. Feel very hungry I contact Fortune Cookie to be informed they had only just started cooking my order and it would be at least another 30min. When I asked why they were so behind, promised me a time, and why they had not called me to say how far they were delayed the response was very unprofessional and unapologetic. The person answering the phone is also very difficult to understand due to their accent, which makes communication very difficult.Then I looked at their food rate by EHO and they only have a 2, this is very very poor. Very pleased now I had cancelled and it was not something I had eaten. With a 2 score something horrendously bad must have been found by the inspector! Seriously I use to eat here a lot - NO MORE.

We have had takeaways from Fortune Cookies many times, during the pandemic it was the best Chinese ever. This evening our family of six sat down to what we were thinking was going to be of the same standard as before, how wrong we were. I could not eat the pork balls the meat was so tough. The chips were terrible and didn’t get eaten, the ribs were uneatable. All in all a disaster as a family get together for a meal. Really sorry to have to write this after the good meals we have had in the past.

The worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. It took forever to arrive, after calling to make sure it was coming it did. It was cold, the dishes were half filled, we’ve never been left hungry from a Chinese takeaway before! It was so expensive too. We’ve recently moved but I think we’ll drive back to Oldfield park to our old Chinese next time.

Ordered for deliver kept being told it’s on its way, it arrived 2 hours late, also stated it is to late now so do not want it anymore and was told it’s still on its way but we’re give you a full refund, to then later be refused the refund, very disappointed won’t be using them again.

Ordered food for 9 people over the Christmas period. Everything was delivered nice and hot and tasted amazing.
Ordered ribs,2chips,S&S sauce, prawn crackers and egg fried rice but my rice wasn’t on the receipt but it was on my just eat receipt I only got the crackers for the rice

OK ... Chinese food is pretty easy to cook once you prepare. I asked for Special Chow Mein. I got 3 small slices of pork ? ... 3 thin slithers of chicken ? laid over the noodles.Seriously a VERY VERY POOR example of Speciel Chow Mein.RUBBISH ... thank Christmas I won't be back ???

Our food has just been delivered it was delivered within the time frame given.Our food is awful. The worse Chinese I have ever had. The majority of dishes are inedible. Everything is dry, no flavour, cold and just to a incredibly low standard. Such a waste of food. But have never had anything so awful from a Chinese. First time ordered from here at the last.Would never order again and would definitely not recommend. Really disappointed as our order was just shy of £50 and will be just going in the bin. Beans on toast for us now.
