A solid 4.5 stars. It's our favourite local F&C in Combe Down/Odd Down. Great portions (medium is large!) with friendly staff.There is another chippy further down the hill with better chips but it would be a disservice to name them here.
This is what a chip shop should be. Just a gigantic bag of chips, the large could serve an entire family. Proper fat fish, battered sausages and real mushy peas. None of your gluten free vegan squid in panko rubbish. Real food for real people.

Best fish and chips this side of Bath.My only gripe is they randomly close for a couple of months with no warning from time to time. Which is very frustrating when you drive there hungry for fish and chips!
