Food was beautifully presented and very tasty, however the service was poor. We were shown to our seats and forgotten, we had to ask for drinks, then menus and then to order!! The staff were definitely distracted by a larger group that had come in and people who arrived after us were served before us, when we finally finished we were asked to relinquish our table because WE had taken too long!Parking: For the amount of people the pub can hold the parking is limited, I certainly wouldn't hold a function there.

Lovely Sunday roast! Will definitely go back next summer for the outdoor patio and the view ?

The food was amazing, I highly recommend the lamb. The service and atmosphere were also very great but we had 3 different waiters attend to us which was a little confusing but the experience was really great.

Superb views from this comfortable and pleasant pub. Really good lunch with good choice of wine. Very pleasant atmosphere and professional, friendly and accommodating staff. A favourite place for lunch. Thanks!

Not our first visit to Hare & Hounds and certainly not our last. What's to say other than wonderful food (we always have a Sunday roast) and drinks, extremely friendly and helpful staff and perhaps the most stunning setting of any such place in Bath. In the summer, the terrace comes alive and makes things even better. Top marks.

Updated review.H&H is under new management now and it is even better than before, the meals are delicious especially the Sunday roasts , (we have tried a few now) Kids meals are great too. The atmosphere in the pub is cosy, clean and stylish. The staff are absolutely lovely. It’s also a really nice place to get a coffee and pastry by the fire place in the day. Beautiful views and free parking. Highly recommend.

Delicious roast and excellent service! Good value for money :) a firm
Love this place. I always treat myself to a pint, or some chips, or maybe even a meal when en route to pick up my daughter from the Royal High just down the road. The views are spectacular, the seating accommodates every wish, the food is exemplary, the beer is bountiful, and the staff are always friendly.I've sampled most dishes, but a standout has to be the morning's eggs benedict with the hand wisked hollandaise. Mouth watering divinity.Kid-friendliness: Easy access to prams, grass verges for children to run on, various patio levels for children to enjoy, fantastic views, lawns, and good i door/outdoor seating options.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a side entrance for wheelchair access from the street / parking, and plenty of seating options on the main floor.

Good but not that good. A little pretentious...

This is the most recommended pub in Bath. It is located on a hill with a panoramic view of Bath, and the quality of the drinks and food is also high. The interior is chic and the staff are very friendly. Great pub!
