“We've just been to Sotto Sotto for a wedding anniversary lunch.What a fabulous restaurant. It is a unique space that has an intimate beauty. We both had three courses.My wife had the mushrooms to start, and I had the Calamari. The mushrooms were incredible, full of flavour. The herbs used on the Calamari were amazing.I had the prawn linguine and my wife had a chicken dish with italian sausage. Both were full of flavour and really good portion sizes. Beautifully cooked, with quality fresh produceOur deserts were the Semifreddo and panacotta like the other courses. These were very tasty.The service throughout was exceptional. Both waiters were very attentive but weren't stood over you.All in all, we had an exceptional meal, with fabulous service in a unique venue.”

“We visited Bath on a day trip, and were really put off by the crowded, rather tacky restaurants available in the center of the town. We looked up online and found The Scallop Shell.. we had oysters, fish and chips, and beer. It was the best fish and chips I have ever eaten— lightly coated, and the fish was fresh and flaky. The oysters were fresh and delicious.. Even the tartare sauce was out of this world.. I highly recommend this restaurant..”
