Lovely restaurant, the steaks here are great, and good size portions, and the staff are very friendly. I can recommend this place highly.

The best steak in town! If you come by the main street, you'll see it has a standing banner and you have to go to the lower ground. If one portion is too big for you, I recommend taking the share platter.

The best steak I had in EnglandThe Herd Steak Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Bath, offers a warm and inviting ambiance. Their friendly staff ensures attentive service, making you feel like an honored guest. The star of the show? Spectacular steaks—think ribeye, sirloin, and fillet—aged to perfection for 21-28 days. Pair your meal with wines from their outstanding list. Book a table at 12 Argyle Street, Bath BA2 4BQ and savor the flavors! Bon appétit!

Excellent. Steak was perfect! Mushrooms were so good and the starter was on point. The decor was funky with a great atmosphere, we entered via Argyle Street that made it an experience (corridors & stairs). The staff were really friendly and recommended a lovely ale. Really worth a visit! Highly recommended.

Fantastic meal to kick off our 30th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. We had the grilled king prawns to start and the Legendary Sharing Platter for main. Steak was cooked to perfection. Great ambiance, and we were looked after by Karl and the team who were very friendly and attentive.
