Wow!!! We had the scallops and the pheasant as starters and the pork chop and hake special as mains And what a delight it was. The food was fresh and so beautifully cooked and seasoned. The sides of new potatoes and green beans tasted as if just pulled from the ground. I wanted to chew on the pork chop bone but was told not to by my wife, but it that good I was tempted to. We enjoyed a great lunch here. Plenty of choice, refined cooking, all in a pleasant atmosphere. We were sensible to arrive early as we hadn't booked, and only got a table because we could be out before the reservation time.

Wow, what an excellent restaurant. A very warm welcome on arrival by the staff, with a great menu at reasonable prices. An excellent venue for any occasion, and the staff are very helpful when asked about the various meals. Our first visit to this lovely restaurant, and it will certainly be our first place to eat on our next visit to Bath. You will not be disappointed.
