My wife and I planned a tea time here as part of our trip to the UK and it was well worth it! She has gluten, fish, and shellfish allergies and they were able to accommodate this to make the tea time a wonderful experience for us both. they had a delicious gluten free selection and we both got the allergen safe options to keep things simple. We had Champagne, Starter, and Tea. It was really neat. They also had live music while we were there so sitting in this historic building right next to the Roman baths and having tea time was a great UK experience. It was fun to dress up and relax with some great food and talk about our trip. I highly recommend!

On our 2nd day in Bath, after a tour of the Roman Baths we decided to have high tea in the pump room as a treat. What should have been a wonderful experience was actually an average one. The room ..a beautiful period space is light and high ceilings is bland, lacking colour and decorations. Flowers would make a huge difference...a display in each window. The few anaemic looking "ferns" looked like b&q cast offs! The carpet does nothing for the space...a dreadful bland 1980s corporate pattern, what a shame. No ambience...even the trio that eventually played struggled to lift the atmosphere of people trying to swallow pastries quietly. The tea itself....overall it was nice and value for money. The addition of a layer of savouries added to the cake stand was a lovely touch. Scones still warm, good selection of teas. Disappointing on the alcohol front, the bloody Mary was bland and lacking flavour...this should be easy to make, and pack a punch with pepper and worcestershire sauce (which was lacking) a shot of vodka with tomato juice is not a bloody mary. More thought is needed here, the table quickly becomes cluttered. Overall, if you are here and would like a treat, do come, but also lower your expectations. This place serves good food, but lacks fun and vivacity.

Excellent afternoon tea. Great gluten free version, compared very well with the gluten version. Friendly and efficient service. Loved the musical accompaniment by the trio, made the experience even more specialDietary restrictions: Easy to select a gluten free option on booking

Exquisite afternoon tea with champagne at the Pump Rooms, our waiter (Tom) and the manager were so attentive, personable and polite. A trio played whilst we ate, which was a lovely surprise too!

Table of six celebrating birthdays today; very excited to visit. Not disappointed! Beautifully presented food, lovely atmosphere with pianist and we were treated like very special guests. Special mention to James and Luke who made our visit so enjoyable. A very memorable experience and would highly recommend.

Just incredible ❤️ Had our wedding reception in the Pump Rooms following opera with champagne and canapés around Roman Baths. Food was wonderful, our guests are used to high level of catering and they unanimously sang praises to food, staff and above all Felix. Huge thank you to you all and especially Felix, you have truly anticipated every step and I as a bride was looked after on with the highest standard.

This was a magical experience. The beautiful decor surrounding the room, the large windows, the accompanying music while you dine, all of it. The high tea service was the best we've ever had. Each item was well thought out and perfectly executed. Even their clotted cream was just better. To be having tea where Queen Anne (1688) to Queen Elizabeth have dined and partaken in the special water, was a special feature. It's worth getting a reservation and being part of such a historical site.

We didn't eat in here, mainly popped in to see the decor & it looked fab. There was only one more couple in there, so it was rather dead tbh. The barman was a friendly enough chap who was helpful who rushed my phone out to me when I left it on the table. Only bad thing was the beer, we had two pints of Birra Moretti & it was bad, so he changed it, but that was just as bad, had a few sips & left.....without my phone.....Thanks

The best afternoon tea of my life. The food is excellent. The live music was just cherry on the top.

Had afternoon tea for two here. The atmosphere was lovely, with live music, delicious food, and wonderful staff for whom no request was too much trouble. The room is gorgeous too, with a view into the Roman Baths as you leave

Outstanding experience. I had an afternoon tea with starter. The food was fantastic but the star attraction was the beautiful pump rooms building with live music in the background. It is pricey but well worth the cost as a treat.
