Would have been perfect if I hadn’t been charged a service charge to n an owl of soup. Popped information a quick midday snack to assess the restaurant for a meal out at a later as I’m going to be in the area quite a bit. If a service charge of over 10% is added to a bowl of soup it’s going to be an expensive experience with a 3 course meal 2 with wine. Puts me off returning- I prefer to be in charge of the service charge- don’t worry I’d tip appropriately if impressed.
You can really tell that the owners, and the whole team, have a lot of pride for this restaurant. My Fiancee and I were in Bath for a couple of nights and saw Square online, so thought we'd give it a try. Really glad we did. We were served by Ross, who was absolutely fantastic. Extremely attentive but without you knowing he was there. A real credit to the restaurant. Food was brilliant. Confit Duck was superb. And really good value for the quality, too. Came for a drink , but Scott was such a fantastic waiter and such a welcoming young man we had a fantastic time and we returned 3/4 times in 3 day's would highly recommended food and drink and atmosphere was excellent
