Don’t bother. One of the most unwelcoming pubs I have been too. The bar staff was obviously very stoned. Had to talk a simple food and drink order slowly twice.\\n\\nFood basic. When asked for a “good whiskey” was offered Jack Daniels.\\n\\nYeah don’t bother. Not welcoming to people who aren’t locals.\\n\\nFood was disgusting. Over cooked. Under cooked. Inedible. Gross.\\n\\nOnly the brave would eat here. Chicken so hard you can’t get a knife through it. Steak full of gristle. Chips under cooked. Peas undercooked. Sausages over cooked.\\n\\nBar staff so unwelcoming and unapproachable that we didn’t even complain. Gross.

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, friendly staff and very reasonably priced beers. Close to the Rec too, so a must visit on rugby days.

Slightly outdated, but pints are still under £5 mark. Facilities are clean and friendly service.

Stopped here after seeing a pragmatic approach to the relaxing of Covid security measures. Friendly staff, good value, and great garden. Well worth a visit - off the beaten track in Bath. Much better option than several over-priced 'gastropubs'.

Enjoyed the xmas menu at the bargain price of £14.50 for 3 courses. The roast potatoes and parsnips were outstanding. Plenty of it and steaming hot.

Lovely family run pub, with super cheap drinks and great atmosphere when sport is showing. Dogs welcome too!

Felt like I was treated poor due to not being local. Bar staff spent more time flirting with one customer (local)than attending anyone else. Food was poor and the meal at spoons was a lot better. Won't recommend to anyone unless you are a local with low standards

Friendly pub and the food was lovely. Thought it was pretty reasonably priced, and I think you’d struggle to find any cheaper (non-chain) pubs in Bath. Definitely one to go back to if we visit Bath again.

Friendly pub serving delicous food. I had the pork belly cooked perfectly and not too fatty. A bit of a treat but well worth it.
A proper drinking pub
