“After trying another carvery and struggling to find somewhere to eat late on a Sunday evening I chanced and called the Red Cow. So happy we did. Wayne (lovely gent who took the call) managed to squeeze us in on the last table available for a late roast.Most other venues at 18:30 would give you any number of excuses not to serve you what’s on the menu, or have run out of other options, but this pub was fantastic!The staff serving were more than welcoming and the food was delicious. Large lamb roast for £15 kids for £8. Beer excellent.Deserts were a little pricy at £7 but if you can point me towards a better lemon curd cheesecake I’ll eat my hat.We left with full belly’s and a note on local places to visit. Would highly recommend.PS toilets were spotless. This speaks volumes on any venue in my opinion.”
