Have been to the Greenway Farm 3 times now over a 6 mouth period. The first two times the meals were lovely but the service was a little slow unfortunately. We went there again last night 19/10/23 with friends and the service was slow again. When we finally made our order off the menu and it was steak night. 3 of us ordered the steak 2 Ribeye and a filet and I asked for no onion rings and no tomato and by wife asked for no tomato but that made no difference as it came with what we didn’t order anyway. My wife and our Friend asked for there steak to be cooked medium/well done and my wife’s wasn’t to bad but our friend was medium rare as he isn’t one to complain he carried on but most of the ribeye. My filet I ask for what was supposed to be medium and came back medium rare. Are meal took so long they brought out a few slices of bread with butter to say sorry for the delay. We did say something to the waitress but unfortunately with not much response. We all decided not to have a dessert after a disastrous main meal for us 3 who had steak. Then a little while later the lady chef came to are table to apologise for the main steak the was well under cooked for our friend and her excuse was the steak was a think ribeye which is absolute rubbish to try and blame it on the thickness of the steak. There was not a proper apology or a reduction in the bill which none of us could believe. Our friends said the last meal there was very similar a few mouths again when they had Hunters chicken it was barely cooked and because they are people that would not complain just paid the bill and left. So unfortunately we will be finding somewhere else to eat out for a nice meal.

This hidden gem was recommended by a friend of mine and we have since visited twice so the review had to be written! We are always cautious when eating out as my mother and i have stupid dietary requirements rendering us "pain in the necks" for chefs. However never been an issue here at Greenway farm. We normally have a starter as a main while Dad is feasting on the largest meat dish he can find on the menu! What is so special about this venue is the staff, the ambience and of course the food. We are the family who bring along the 2 shy little Dauschunds everywhere we go! Greenway are always happy to accomodate them, bringing some water for them and saying hello, so they love it there also. We will be back again in a few months for sure

My sister got married and then had her reception here.It was perfect. the food was amazing and there was so much of it.All the staff were very attentive and very friendly.All in all. Greenway Farm, made a very important day, even better. Love and respect to all of you xxx. Keep up the good work.

Went to my friends daughter's wedding at Greenway Farm. The venue was really lovely, the service very good, the staff very friendly and the food great. Would thoroughly recommend Greenway Farm.
Visited the restaurant, a lovely barn conversion with fantastic views of the garden. From the table we could see a couple of horses that were in the adjacent field.All the food is freshly cooked to order, there is a polite notice of this on the menu to advise that the food might take some time. There was a large party of 12 seated, the chef came out to personally apologise for a longer than usual service.The food was exceptional, definitely worth the wait. As a party of 6, we had starters, mains and a dessert. The servers/waitresses were attentive and frequently asked if they could get us any drinks whilst we were waiting. The vegan options were fantastic.Added extra, there are a couple of friendly cats that frequent the car park - very cute! ?

Absolutely fantastic service and food. All the meat is supplied by a local business and all the food is home made. We love the Thursday deals 2 steaks and a bottle for £45 amd try to visit every month. Absolutely love it ?Food & drinks: Fantastic value

Dined at the restaurant. Very nicely decorated and food was good. Staff friendly but a little extra attention would have got the 5th star 1 - only 1 menu between us, had to ask for another 2 - cod was supposed to be served with jasmine rice, came with pots by mistake. They did offer to correct by cooking some rice but that would have meant either letting the meal go cold, or eating rice on its own 3 - when we ordered drinks we asked for no ice/lemon in coke which is what we received. Would have been nice if the repeat order had been same without having to repeat especially as it was the same server.

Lovely restaurant in the middle of the countryside. Beautiful views from the conservatory. The food was lovely and a great menu. Could have had several items from the menu. The service was also really good considering there was a very large party in, coming to check on us regularly to ask for any more drinks etc. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back again!
