Harvest Moon

Went here on Sunday on spec without a booking as a last minute thing for a meal to save cooking. Had a fabulous meal both the starter which was mushrooms and the main a Lamb dinner were delicious and the chef in this place is a brilliant chef highly recommended. The front of house staff give us a lovely warm welcome and excellent service. Will definitely be returning to this gem. Great food and friendly atmosphere!Attended on a Saturday evening with a 3 month old baby and was made to feel welcome and the staff where great in finding a suitable table for us.Kid-friendliness: Was very accommodating with us having a pram and a baby and was lovely and friendly with our 3 month old. Made to feel welcome which was lovely.

Chata Polish Restaurant

Excellent food & service.Massive portions to be honest, you could easily share a main meal the portions are that big.Parking: Sundays no restrictions in front of restaurant. Restrictions operate at other times.

Moghul - Bridgwater

I first came to this Indian takeaway in October 2012..I had stroke,so moved to Bridgwater .I could not work,so on benefits.money was tight,So the family who run this fantastic takeaway,was always very genius,they let me have more food,then I had money for...True caring family business!!I have the greatest respect,and appreciation for them!I recommend Mogul,Indian takeaway to anyone!Thank you for your generosity, kindness!I'll never forget ??

Wild Rocket

On the busiest night of Bridgewater me and my family come to the restaurant in need of a table and the staff did everything they could to fit us in which was absolutely amazing! Didn't feel like we was getting rushed out the door either. The service was brilliant all the staff were polite and could not be more helpful if they tried, the food came out well presented and cooked to perfection the whole family enjoyed there experience at the restaurant and will definitely be recommending the restaurant to others.

The Compass

Easter Sunday roast at The Compass was a great decision. We had heard great reviews recently of the food, menu, staff etc with the new operators and decided to give it a try.The roast lamb on the specials board was delicious as was the rest of the lunch including the cauliflower cheese. Desserts are generous and very tasty.The staff are happy, attentive and we were checked on regularly throughout our meal.Thank goodness we have a great pub now locally that serves quality food which isn’t from a microwave.We will be back to visit again soon to work our way through the menu and very tempting specials board.Thank you xx

My work colleagues and I went for food here last night . The Service was top class and the food was even better. The Ribeye steak i had was honestly one the best I have ever had and cooked to perfection.Will be visiting again for sure !

I treat myself to a bacon roll and a coffee every Friday on my way to work. The staff here are brilliant and always have a smile on their faces. Food is good as always! Thanks

Today was my Mother in-law birthday and it’s Yummy made it extremely special for her! Their food is not only incredible their service goes beyond for their customers. Thank you again it’s yummy family we will definitely be coming back!!

Nutmeg House Restaurant

I've visited Nutmeg a couple of times now on my visits into Bridgwater; the first time with my partner, and this morning on my own for a quick pit stop and to read my book. I ordered a toasted teacake with butter and jam and a hazelnut latte. Both were superb. I have never had a toasted teacake so big anywhere else! And it was served very nicely. The coffee was also excellent. I will definitely be back again!

Cozy restaurant and good food. The lemon chicken was good but the rice could be a little better. The place is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Fine food but not outstanding.

I can't believe I have not been in years.Fish n chips beautifully cooked with perfect batter.The ONLY CHIPPY to make home made onion rings in BridgwaterHome made fish cake like other in town loaded with fish.Irish curry sauce. Shanz Grill

Haven’t dined in however we order all the time from shanz. Tonight on what I imagined would be a busy Saturday night, they forgot 1- 1/4 piece chicken. I rang and told who I’m guessing is the manager and he apologised and had the chicken back out to me within 15 mins max. Aswell as this as a sorry gave a slice of their chocolate cake which was unreal. Thanks whoever you are!.

Came for breakfast today with a friend, the full English looked and tasted amazing, my friend had the breakfast wrap which she said was the best she'd had in ages. Would really recommend and hats of to the chefs. Coffee was lovely and hot to

Good quality English breakfast, very tasty, not greasy. Nice coffee to wash it down. Lots on menu I would like to try, shame only open until 3pm during the week.Highly recommended.

King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse + Pub

Normally quite good for food if you like Brewers Fayre menu style.Main downfall is that it is a bit hit or miss whether they have drinkable ale - they generally only have Doom Bar on the hand pump and quite often it has run out or you can tell it is just about to as you get a dull cloudy pint.

First time in this cafe, and I will be heading back in soon. We ordered the traditional breakfast and omelette and pot of tea. The food was good. Very good price for it all and the service was very quick. I definitely recommend this

Just had a chicken Donna wrap the guy suggested his chilli sauce which I'm no fan of but he let me try it on a chip first and I said why not and it's been one of the best kebabs I've had in a long time highly recommended this place and his chilli will be back for

Beautiful afternoon tea ? Plenty of choice - warm scones with fresh clotted cream and jam, a selection of white and brown finger sandwiches with salmon and cream cheese, cream cheese and cucumber roast beef and horseradish,and some ham and mustard too. 2 slices of lemon cheese cake, carrot cake, chocolate mirror cake and finally some macarons) All of which were served with good rich coffee or piping hot tea. Deliciously fresh, and super yummy! ? Too much for us to finish but we were provided with some takeaway boxes so got to enjoy it all again for tea. Would recommend to all ?

New Turkish breakfast opened in the heart of Bridgwater Town centre at Noodle brothers. Breakfast service begins from 9am - 2pm. The noddle and burger from 3pm-11:30pm. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and tasty. Variety of different turkish pastries aswell! It gets served just like the pictures they have posted on the window. You must check this place out!

China Star

Very friendly staff and a really fast service. Not our usual takeaway for Chinese food, but we were all very impressed with the whole service (service, quality, quantity and taste).

Golden House Chinese Takeaway

Overall not bad. Good portion sizes. Chips are overcooked. Beef curry wasn't very flavoursome and sauce was very thin like water. King prawns were smallNot as good as it was last time. Delivery driver was ignorant and unfriendly.

This has to be the most popular place in bridgewater,and its no wonder.this was the biggest and best breakfast i have ever had.i ordered the small breakfast with my egg really well cooked,with a portion of mushrooms,and a latte,my husband ordered almost the same but with added chips,the plates were huge.and everything on the plate was delicious,too much for both of us.and it came with two slices of lovely toast each too.was fabulous

The food here was absolutely fantastic, whatever you ordered. But they have new cooks, and the food, still edible, is not as nice. Because it's a cattle market cafe, everything was cooked to perfection, the roast of the day was best ever. It's not terrible now, just not quite the standard it was.Parking: We in a lorry so stay all night so pay for parking. Have stopped here late morning and stayed for breakfast, and not paid for parking, because didn't stay that long.Kid-friendliness: Have seen children in there, of all ages

This is it, this is THE local. Live gigs? Got it.Rock and roll, metal, jazz, it's all here. I've come here for years, never a single issue.Plus, Pool table is a quid. Absolute win.

The Fountain

Always will be and is my local pub run by a lovely and fantastic landlady and has great loyal staff and great regular drinkers and friends and a great place to unwind especially after a long day socialising. I visited tonight after a long hard day away from Bridgwater and was recognised by one of the ladies who had served me previously and noticed that there was a lively atmosphere. It's so nice to visit your local bar/pub and be amongst friends. The Fountain is a lovely local pub run by a very intelligent landlady and her staff are excellent. It's so nice to have a drink in The Fountain if you're by yourself as you have people around you that are ready to help if needs be. Had great service tonight from the nice young lady behind the bar . I will definitely go there again as I always do.

Westfield Street Cafe

Met some ladies for lunch today and the food is homemade and delicious. They had a large party in for coffee so it was very loud and hard to hear my party even though we were sat very close to each other. Very reasonably priced.

Welcome Kitchen

Not local so had the hard task of choosing a Chinese that would be good. Landed on Welcome Kitchen and we're pleased. Very good salt and pepper chips, plenty of veg spring rolls in a portion, but the chicken foo young was very average. Would go back but for a different meal next time!

West India House

I've been passed many times and heard singing and laughing, this was my first time inside,they've done so much to it it's huge, it was very quiet when we went in but we were made very welcome, and the landlord was showing the boys with us around and telling them all about the refurb and a lot of the history behind the pub, had a few drinks....

Ruby Cantonese & Chinese Takeaway

The food tasted beautiful and looked it too. It gave me pure happiness I didn’t even finish it as it was sooo filling ,and I had quite a lot on my plate, didn’t have to wait long either and it was very hot and fresh when we got home. Definitely recommend the chicken chow mein it’s a 10/10 experience

My friends were in this branch of Morrisons yesterday and bought pizzasMy pizza which was vegan was freshly made and the pizza lady even went beyond to find my friends to see if I are sweet corn and put this on the pizza with vegan cheeseThe pizza was brimming with veg and very filling so I am going have the remaining 2 slices for lunch Once again please thank the pizza ladyfor her service.

Morrisons Cafe

As the breakfast at our hotel was quite expensive popped in to this cafe as we know the food is usually good. They had an offer on for a bacon butty plus a drink for £3 each so tried ordering two. Had paid the bill when we noticed one butty was missing. On asking we were given it FOC. 3 rashers of bacon in a nice soft roll was a good start to the morning as we are not normally big eaters.
