Food was lovely but unfortunately service was shocking. Young girl taking orders but had no idea whose table she had ordered from so people were sat for a long time waiting for her to approach them. Overheard alot of the customers complaining. Manager seemed a very nice man just seemed very stressed (but with a waitress like that I understand why) she didnt even thank us after taking our order, she just walked away. Sad as we wanted to stay for another drink but decided against it knowing we would be waiting forever.

Service and price were good, coffee could have been better, but then that is subjective and others may think it is great. The deccor is good but it echos quite a bit which makes it a little noisey, perhaps a few soft furnishings would help.

Friendly owners John and Danielle make this place very welcoming. The food is amazing... especially the home made chicken curry. This is a hidden gem two minutes walk over the town bridge from Bridgwater's town centre.

Having broken down on the motorway on our way to cornwall and stuck for 3 hours we were dropped at a local garage. As we were soaking wet and hungry we found La kage. Staff were very friendy and welcoming. Really polite staff and amazing service. Went out of they way to help get the kids dry and help warm them up. Absolutely amazing custom service. Definitely recommended La kage to anybody. Massive thank you for all your help

Had breakfast here twice while staying in Bridgwater. The breakfast menu was fairly small but very well cooked. Having crisp toast under scrambled eggs, great ?. Recommended. Only 4 stars because of the small menu.
