Really nice café spotless clean I had a sausage nap excellent situated in this lovely town of Bruton Somerset.Has a nice selection of food obviously including a breakfast menu.Pleasantly surprising to find such a nice Café. Its hidden at the back of a shop.Take away available not sure about delivery though.

Really dreadful cheese and onion toasted sandwich. Virtually no cheese and a solitary shaving of onion. After a 30 minute wait... like a bad trip back to the 1970s. I would have said something but the service was so generally grumpy that I didn’t feel like putting my head in the cat’s mouth at the end of the meal, hence leaving this review instead.

Was So looking forward to a delicious breakfast but the full English and my vegetarian breakfast were both greasy and awful such a disappointment! Also the owner (I assume) was moody and not welcoming at all with no personality or smile . Wish we had gone across the road to the old chapel which had a better class coffee shop !

Missed bus. Rainy Bruton. Fed up. So I needed somewhere to get a coffee. I you can easily miss Cats Cafe- it’s at the back of the general stores. DONT WALK PAST. It’s a gem - clean, friendly, simple well cooked food. I had a coffee, but stayed for a cheese and ham panini. There may be other vastly higher priced places in and around Bruton, but add this cafe to your bucket list!

Portuguese owner with a great selection of Portuguese food products plus surprisingly freezers with fish produce. This quirky side was interesting. Went for breakfast and the selection was good and with a vegetarian option as well.portion sizes good and drinks cost extra but worth it and a good selection of hot and cold beverages. Clean and tidy cafe well impressed with lay out will visit this establishment again.

Lovely little cafe. Almost missed it though as not obvious there was a cafe in there, only found it as a previous review on here mentioned that. Cheap and cheerful, lovely food.

Seats were a bit wobbly, didn't put too much confidence in sitting in them

Seemed popular with locals though could be missed by visitors as the frontage doesn't mention a cafe and looks just like a local grocers. Impressed by the small quiche and small chips which was plenty, full of cheese and bacon and came with half a plate of crisp, fresh salad for good measure (all for £5.50 I think). Cheeseburger and chips was good value too and the cooked breakfast was great - wicked fried bread! Hard-working lady running it did so well to juggle everything and we only had a short wait.

Nothing fancy in decor but good friendly atmosphere and good value for money breakfast ??

I had the mega breakfast. Old eggs, one brown one pink sausage, small plate with far to much on it and swimming in beans. Think it was cat who served us. Very abruptly and as other customers came in they where served in the same manner. Food was thrown on the table. Strange to keep the freezer store in the cafe. Wouldn't recommend

Delicious veggie breakfast. Nicely flavoured decaf coffee. Charming service. Sensible prices. Looking forward to returning!
