The Sun Inn
33 High St, BrutonWe had an awesome Persian meal at the Sun on Saturday. We were given a massive plate full of food for an amazing price. We were recommended a lamb and chicken dish and both were lush.
The chef went out of his way to give every single person that came his way what they wanted, and I will definitely be coming back. This man needs a peace prize or something, he has a heart of gold. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal, and a chance to sign out from work for an hour.
Couldn’t recommend enough.
Pub was a classic English pub, and again, service was brilliant and atmosphere was great

Eat West Country
Farm, Godminster, Godminster Lane, BrutonWest Country Caterers took care of the catering for our wedding at a local country house in South Molton. 10 out of 10 for every aspect. Food was delicious, served on time requested and presentation was excellent. I literally only had to show them were the kitchen and dinning room was, and that was it. I would 100% recommend ?

At The Chapel
28 High Street, BrutonStayed for a couple of nights at the beginning of September. Highlights were the customer service, fresh morning croissants, complimentary apple cyder brandy in the room, excellent breakfasts, good location and lovely ambience. Downside was that our room was too hot and the windows, quite ridiculously, only open a few inches. Plus the lights on the rear of the building flooded the room throughout the night. Also our bedroom needed a little TLC ( the bathroom window was held open with a loo roll! and the walls were marked in places) which surprised me. Tip- if like me you don't want to have had other guests dogs sleeping in the bedroom then make sure you ask for a no dog room when you book.

Rickshaw Chinese Takeaway
West End, BrutonWe ordered shredded chilli beef, pork fried rice and sweet and sour pork, and would recommend. The food was good. We didn’t have any issue with. Only thing was it took an hour for it to be delivered from when we ordered it, and our Airbnb was less than a 10 min drive from the restaurant. Would order again
