I was offered the last portion of chips (to be fair it was about to close) I was told there was more then a small portion left but was only going to be charged for a small portion. When it arrived there was probably only ten( approximately )chips in the tray very disappointed @£3.10 (very expensive for what it was )So decided not to accept

Being a local I went to the Esplanade fish bar for a portion of chips for a quick lunch, Server was friendly and chatted while the chips were Frying. Large portion £3-75 passed the chips over to me, Got home and the portion (Large) was so small you could count the chips, 25 mostly small, Myself not having been there for a while was shocked and disappointed. SO IF YOU ARE HUNGRY AND 25 CHIPS (Mostly small) (LARGE PORTION) £3-75 is enough great But last time we as locals will buy from there.

I am gluten free and can not even have a tiny bit I ordered 1 gluten free cod and chips and one normal fish and chips when I arrived home they were not labelled which was was gluten free so I phoned them for them to dissribe over the phone which one was gluten free so to be safe I couldn't eat it and it's so expensive would definitely not be having anything from there again

The lad behind the fryers cooked me a whale of a fish. To perfection may i add. The service is impeccable only thing to make my experience better would be a red carpet ?
