First impressions were great, it was so busy which was lovely to see and was nicely decorated and very clean.

The food arrived in great time, it was well presented, good quality and very tasty. The portion sizes were very generous and it was all still hot on arrival. We would highly recommend and use again.

21 College St, Burnham-on-SeaWe've been going to the Zalshah for more years than I can remember (way back to when it opened). Service has been great by this family friendly team who are appreciated for the quality of service and the food. 2 Indian Lagers on draft as well as a great menu. Will continue to visit and have take aways. They do deliver but then you'd miss the chance of a chat and a swift refreshing drink.

25 Victoria St, Burnham-on-SeaWent in for breakfast, love the new menu & decor. Staff friendly as always! I had pancakes and they were amazing so fluffy !! They Came with proper bacon not streaky or thin as well so happy days.
My husband had a bacon roll and it looked amazing, came in a brioche bun and again nice thick cooked bacon, 3 or 4 pieces in the roll. Glad to see somewhere new and AFFORDABLE in burnham doing breakfast. Absolutely amazing. Will be going back asap.

U2, 35 High St, Burnham-on-SeaGreggs can be very busy at peak times , but the queue goes very quickly. The food sometimes I think isn't hot enough ! . They do sell a lot of sausage rolls . Breakfast rolls or baguettes very popular . They do Green and peppermint tea's plus the usual hot and cold drinks.

Taste Of The Orient
66-68 High St, Burnham-on-SeaWe visited on a Saturday, food was tasty! Really enjoyed the chow mein and chilli chicken, the egg fried rice was quite oily and the sweet and sour was quite tangy. Prawn crackers and drinks were also enjoyable. Staff were really friendly and helpful, would visit again but maybe try some different dishes.

Bay Of India Brean
Brean, Burnham-on-SeaStarted off with the poppadoms which to me are a must when going to an Indian. They came out nice and crisp and the dips alongside them really stood out. The mango chutney had that sweet sticky flavour that pairs perfectly with the crunch while the mint sauce was fresh and cooling with just the right amount of tang. A proper good combo to start the meal.
For my main I went with the meat Bhuna and I have to say it was spot on. The sauce was thick, rich and packed with flavour, not overly spicy but full of depth. The meat itself was tender and soaked up the sauce really well so every bite had a good kick of that Bhuna flavour. Paired that with keema rice which was lovely. The rice was fluffy and light but every mouthful had those little bursts of spiced mince in it which gave it more bite and made it far more interesting than plain rice.
I also got a cheesy naan to go with it. I will be honest, the edges were a bit stale which was a shame but once you got into the middle it was soft, gooey and properly cheesy. When you ripped a piece off and scooped it up with the Bhuna it was an absolute winner. The cheese and sauce worked so well together.
The restaurant itself has a really nice decor, clean and welcoming, and the staff were brilliant. They were friendly and kept checking in to make sure everything was alright without being overbearing which really made the experience feel relaxed.
Only downside is that I did end up with a bit of an upset stomach after which was unfortunate, but apart from that the food tasted great and the service could not be faulted.

13 College St, Burnham-on-SeaReally nice guy running the place and the pizza was amazing - we had two 'normal' and one gluten free pizzas, and it's not often you find a gluten free alternative, let alone one that tastes good! Very nice all round and worth every penny, great value for money! Thank you!

New Season Chinese Takeaway
14 Abingdon St, Burnham-on-SeaHaven’t had Chinese food for ages, so ordered online, and came 5 mins before approximate delivery time. I had beef chow mein which was so lovely!! Beef was tender and lots of lovely noodles. Rest of family and sweet n sour chicken balls and they were lovely and big and crispy. When food arrived it was still hot. Will order again ???

Old Pier Tavern, The, 4 Pier St, Burnham-on-SeaWalked in for a fish and chips on a rainy Friday afternoon, a large haddock and chips fed 3 of us with chips to spare. Very nice, fresh battered fish, crispy and not greasy, and very generous portion of chips. Glad we didn't look at other reviews before we went because we had a lovely lunch

We got the special which was Lamb Rump with leaks, spring onions and sautéed potatoes. The lamb was very tender and well worth the price! It was so delicious!
The drink we got aperol spritz which was very nice and refreshing!
For desert we shared a lemon cheese cake which was so tasty!

There is attention to detail and fantastic gluten-free options.\nWe no longer live in Burnham but still visit when we can. Highbridge Rd, Burnham-on-SeaMet family here for drinks which were reasonably priced. My granddaughter loved the outdoor area with its various play equipment. The adults in our group didn’t eat but she had pizza and chips from the children’s menu. It was a large portion, freshly cooked and hot. Very much a local pub.

Hill View, Brean, Burnham-on-SeaVisit this place every October half term. The fish&chips are amazing.
A very friendly and efficient lady who serves the orders.
Always a massive queue but prepared to wait.

Cafe Beans is a fantastic find. It’s properly accessible – my large wheelchair fit through the double doors with no problem, which made things so much less stressful.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food is absolutely delicious – I had the breakfast omelette and it was amazing.
Overall it was a brilliant experience and I’ll definitely be back again.

2-3 Pier St, Burnham-on-SeaOut for a walk last Sunday, popped on for a coffee, surprised it was filter coffee but none the worse for that.
Price was reasonable and there appeared to be a selection of cakes. Main meals as well.
The cafe appeared to be clean and tidy.

The fresh side salad was a nice touch, with ripe tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and mixed leaves. The place was immaculately clean and superbly presented.
Nazib prepared my sub with skill and attention to detail. He upsold me to a meal deal politely telling me the benefits as he had obviously seen me studying the drinks menu.
Top class guy, made me feeling welcome and so glad i called in.
