We came down as season had started on Northam arrived late afternoon rang Ocean Bar and asked if food was still being served was told yes also asked if we could eat at the bar as it gets extremely busy on Bingo nights was told yes no probs as they were already getting full,so we went up around 6.30pm ordered drinks managed to find 2 stools at corner of bar only to be told we couldn't have food at the bar, disappointed really as was misled, and never experienced issues before however Thanks to the young dark haired barmen who secured us 2 spare stools, just a shame about where food can be eaten when busy.

Had food late last night, messy fries, burger and a couple of other bits. The price and quality was unbeatable in the area will come again.

Lovely bar just off the beach. Dogs allowed and food looks OK too. Quiet this time of year, Feb, but in the summer it lovely with the outside seating. Worth a visit in any weather.

We have been coming to Brean for some years but , never been to the Ocean bar. It was a great find, Brean has become very unfriendly to dog owners and dogs, One or two of the venues were down right hostile when we asked if we could bring the dog in side. The food at the ocean bar was of good quality and staff really nice And lots f dogs inside and out. If your in the area use this place as you well get a worm welcome. Other places will tell you sit out side or we don’t allow dogs anywhere on our premises.

Went there September 2023. Wasn't sure if I was at a pub or a vets.Dogs on seats and room smelt of dog. Now before you all shout. I have a dog but never take him in a pub or wherever food is served. Even when we tried to get out a owner had 3 dogs all tangled up in the porch. Get dogs off seats so we can sit without getting dirty. Sorry I won't be back...

Friendly staff, good drinks and great location, virtually on the Beach. Drinks reasonably priced and food looks good but we didn't participate with food this time around. Great for pets and children, highly recommend.

Lovely place to come with views of the sea while having a pint of Thatchers lemon cider. Prices you can’t argue with and the place is clean and tidy throughout. Always come to visit when we come to Somerset

Food OK, not the best. We just had ham egg and chips with salad. The chips were frozen, and the ham wasn't the best. Our lad wanted pizza and garlic bread. When ordering, we were told they didn't have either (and a number of other items) and were told we'd have to change our order. No apology.
