Had a high expectations and they were fulfilled, mostly. Details to follow.The chicken tikka was exceptional, the best I’ve had in years. The curries were delicious also. All had depth of flavour with good quality chicken/lamb.The only thing that didn’t meet expectations were the vegetable side dishes, which were very overcooked resulting a mushy gloop. The taste was fine but there was no bite whatsoever and rather like baby food. First visit so not sure if that’s nornmal or a one off.

This is a long overdue review. Saagar is the best Indian takeaway around! We moved 20 minutes down the road and we tried all of the Indian takeaways in the town, but absolutely nothing compares. So we still come back to our fave 6 years on! ? Lovely staff and amazing food! Thank you ☺️

Just had a takeaway, wow, absolutely fantastic, so obviously freshly cooked to order. I’m a continental trucker so eaten all over Europe and beyond, couldn’t be bothered to cook tonight, so popped in. I can honestly say it’s definitely in the top ten best Indian I’ve ever had. Even saved a bit in the fridge so the wife can try some when I’m home tomorrow night!! Hope I pass here again sometime. ???

We have had a birthday meal take out, ordered today from Saagar. I have to say, that the food was absolutely delicious!!! This is not the first time we have ordered, however after previous small hiccup we have decided to give it a go again. We went for a mix menu this time and everything was absolutely fantastic. Food arrived hot and tasted delicious. We have really enjoyed each dish full of spices and aromas. Definitely will be back :)

We're moving to Cornwall on Friday so decided to have our last takeaway tonight. Food was excellent as always and great service from all of the staff. Special thanks to the main man Sultan for the Birthday treat for the wife ? It's going to be tough to find an equally good Indian takeaway in Newquay.

This is an award winning takaway, so we gave it a try and really enjoyed the food although it would be helpful if there was a guide to hotness on the menu as my daughter changed her order at the last minute and found it too hot to finish!
Amazing food. Great delivery. Always fantastic. I can't say enough. It is the best takeaway in my area.

We thought we would give this place a try whilst on holiday. Everything was spot on maybe a little bit spicier than expected but could not fault it. Gutted we waited til our last night to try here because we definitely would have gone again.

Ordered food at 5.45pm on Saturday, did assume it would take awhile but after almost 2 hour it turned up, tried calling several time but no answer, sent an email and no reply. When it did arrive delivery lady was friendly as normal. Unfortunately the rice and naan bread were almost cold and needed reheating but the curry was hot and flavoursome.
