We have used shah for many years but unfortunately will not be using again. We stopped sitting in since Ali and shah left due to the poor service so we tried a take away. Got the order wrong and it was all Luke warm chicken was dry and the lamb very fatty. Such a shame new owners have spoilt and great Indian

Food was cold, over priced and delivery driver tried to charge extra £2 because I was over 4 miles away but I was only 0.6 miles away, other Indian takeaways in local area you get better service and £10 cheaper
My favourite of the Indian restaurants in Burnham. Such friendly staff that look after us, especially my young niece, incredibly well. Delicious food and great atmosphere.

Visited here with my partner. Food was great, customer service was absolutely awful. We weren't welcomed in at all and they had no idea about our booking. The restaurant was full and it was clear they were unable to cope under the pressure. They were more intrested in serving bigger parties than tables of 2 so we were forgotten about the whole time. Had to ask multiple times to order a drink, then when we did finally order, it took so long to arrive, same happened again with the food, we were seeing larger groups being very well looked after, being asked if they could get them anything, if their food was ok and being served immediately. When the food did arrive it was very nice, couldn't fault it but the time it took just to order was ridiculous, we ordered two of the same mains and 1 side, our table was booked for 7.30pm we didn't get out until almost 10pm! I would not visit again, or recommend based on the service, very disappointed! ***Also if you book online, remember to ask for your deposit to be deducted off your bill as they will NOT deduct it automatically and once paid, it will not be refunded ***

The food was superb. One of the best curry restaurants in Somerset. It should be noted that l have had meals in many of them, and there are many good ones. Excellent service dealing with a big group of us and thus 4 bills to sort out. All handled well and accurately. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
