We always visit here when on holiday and every single time the food is fresh and tasty, very reasonable prices, good size meals and all the staff are so friendly nothing is a problem for them! Definitely

Found in the middle of the town, didn't think would be dog friendly due to being more in the center (considering weatherspoons on the front, was not dog friendly, we didn't hold much hope)But it was, quite where we first went it around 12ish, was able to pick a table out the way, however around 1ish it got much busier, a few people struggled to get a seat (a few people didn't want the high table and chairs we where sat on)Ordered drinks at the bar, and also on the app. Along with food, food was a bargain with plenty of choice. Drinks menu had loads of offers, if was staying in Burham, this would definitely be the place to be.Lovely staff, service and food.

Dog friendly. Visited 3 times in a row in early March. Gets full quickly from 11am to 2pm including weekdays, unless raining. Lovely meals and staff. Friendly locals.Dietary restrictions: Vegan ice cream and other options available. Just ask.

Had to complain about wait for food and then was served lukewarm food and barman had the audacity to say food had just been plated. Totally

We were rushed through the ordering process by the member of staff at the counter. We tried to order coffee with our meal and were told we would have to wait half an hour for the machine to heat up. We ordered Bread with our meal. When the food arrived the chips were anemic, the peas were like bullets the bread was stale and arrived with frozen butter that was totally inadequate certainly not enough for one slice let alone two. I watched the barman clear the table next to ours he then sprayed the chemical over the table causing overspray to envelop our table while eating our food he then attempted to wipe the table in a figure of eight motion knocking food remnants over the seats and floor area he left half the table wet having only wiping half of the spray up. Very poor service we certainly will not be returning to The Railway again.

Excellent value for money and we really enjoyed the gammon, egg and chips!! A very generous portion of two 4oz gammons, two free range eggs, chips and peas! We've recommended it to everyone since we went and look forward to returning! It was hot, fresh, a great sized portion and a great price. Staff are friendly and we'll definitely return but the atmosphere is a bit of a let down, inside and out. Toilets and outside area would benefit from a bit of tlc but nice to have heaters. ??
