30/12/2024Update. Superb as ever.01/06/2022Update. Still super quality food, portion sizes and service from Zalshah. Buffet nights on Wednesday are a bargain.This Indian restaurant is fantastic. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly & happy to explain what the dishes comprise of. The meals are freshly prepare, of a good portion size and attractively presented. There is a good option to suit every taste and the set meal for 2 is excellent value. The drinks both alcoholic and soft are reasonably priced. It does get very busy so it's sensible to reserve a table at peak times. A takeaway service is available too and equally as lovely.

Got a take away tonight from here and ordered a chicken madras which is usually red. It was brown and had no spice just tasted like the gravy they use. Naan was OK but I wouldn't return for another after what we had tonight. Would rather order pizza than pay double for this. Quite disappointed first night here ? maybe as it was 10 pm they didn't care as staff left after I ordered.

Had a beautiful 30th Anniversary meal here tonight! Service is excellent, the food is superb! We love the Zalsha, best Indian restaurant in the area!! Thank you!Parking: Free street parking after 6pm!
What a find! Fabulous food and a great ambiance. Starters were prawn butterfly and a battered garlic prawn (not had that before) both excellent. Mains lamb dopiaza, pilau rice, chicken tikka biryiani and brinjal bhaji with a keema naan. It is rare we go to an Indian restaurant and eat everything in sight. We did this time and feel absolutely stuffed! It was Fabulous ?

Stopped off for the night, while travelling. Visited on a Thursday night and had a cracking curry. Popadoms, Chicken Pathia , mushroom rice and peshwary naan. Not to forget a few cobras to wash it all down. Would definitely recommend.
