Just been here to eat with my Mum for breakfast and loved it.Gorgeous building and layout. Lovely art to look at upstairs and browse. Very friendly and accommodating staff and delicious sausage sandwich! Thank you so much for making our visit so nice.

Excellent breakfast and very reasonable price. Only very small problem, if it gets busy, then it's going to take longer to get served, but worth waiting for. Went back twice in a week.

Had lunch with sister and hubby on Thursday, absolutely scrummy food!! Owner came out to apologize for food taking a while but we didn't think wait was too bad considering he's only chef. Definitely go

Visited at lunch time today. Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. Food was delicious and piping hot. We had the chicken skewers/chips/salad and burger/chips/salad. Would highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.

What a find. You'd never expect the inside to be as beautiful and spacious from looking at the outside! People were friendly and food was lovely. Worth checking out, you'll be surprised!

My first cafe lock in lol..What great people with yumptious food. We turned up quite close to closing time, but they were super accommodating and we were starving, so very grateful. ?The place is beautiful, steeped in history, well worth a visit, even got doggy treats for our most welcomed dog.. we'll be back ?

Substantial portion sizes and very tasty! All the adults had sandwiches - the helpful and friendly staff were happy to make alterations to the menu for us, as everything is made to order. The children were very happy with their food too, one declaring that the cod bites are her new favourite! ?

Absolutely fantastic staff, great quality food and superb setting - A Bite To Eat has it all.If you like something to look at while sipping your coffee, go there. The beautiful former auction house setting means you have a spacious cafe/dining area to catch up with friends over a drink. The food is egg-cellent, literally, because their eggs are the best in town. The staff here have gone above and beyond in every single way, for every customer. And, the little portrait that sits in the corner by the bar is my late Nanna, who they looked after so well. They really look after every customer and never forget a face.Kev & Maria are the most hard-working, genuine and resilient owners who set up in COVID and have had to work harder than most to stay afloat during hard times. Please go and support this excellent establishment, you won’t forget it!
