The service is very good and delicious. The staff is very polite and worth the money. All the food is perfect. There is a free parking lot. I will come back to eat.

On holiday in local area, we were nearly put off by reviews, but other takeaway in the area shut so bit the bullet. Eating as a family of 6, food was lovely hot and huge portions (we had the left overs the next day for lunch) 6 different main means with 3 rices and a couple of sides came to £70, a little more expensive than we’d pay for our local Chinese food. Only criticism was that the curry we ordered was mild and didn’t have much flavour to it , but wouldn’t hesitate to use again if we were staying in Cheddar again

Not sure what is going on with the 1 star reviews. Cracking takeaway every time. Darn good for local chinese.

We had a very disappointing takeaway - and sadly this was not my first experience of this and hence I am writing this review. Grown up family around for a rare Saturday night all together so had a takeaway treat. Sad to say it did not live up to being a treat. It was very poor - half crispy aromatic duck was extremely dry. Crisp did not just apply to the skin. It was already shredded but 3 bones left in box taking up room, cucumber battens were the size of a little finger so few in number taking up majority of the room in container and hardly any spring onion. I appreciate the prep of cucumber and onions are fiddly but essential for this dish. We were left with pancakes left over but nothing to put in them. On to the main course - - sweet and sour pork was chewy chunks of batter in pink gooh (no pineapple or pepper slices in ) - chicken sate was missing much chicken so only vegetables in more gooh but beige this time with a hint of peanut taste but nothin visible - egg fried rice was missing the egg so brown and unappetising Real shame and sadly will need persuading to go back. With the cost of living crisis making eating “out” a treat it is important for local businesses to offer good standards to retain their shrinking clientele. This was not the first take away that was not satisfactory and such a shame that standards are now so low from a business that used to be so good.

Fancied a takeaway one evening during our holiday & the chinese was round the corner from the cottage. Sweet & sour chicken balls - great size, loads in the bag and cooked really nicely. My daughter thought they were yummy. Egg fried rice - nice & tasty, even my daughter (who is picky with what she eats) enjoyed it. Mushroom Chow Mein - was alright, my wife said if it had more beansprouts it would have been a 5 star review (but she is very picky as she cooks this dish at home!) Mixed veg in sate sauce - nice & tasty The chips were pretty good too, previous chinese takeaways we have been to they have always been a bit hit & miss but not these ones. I'd recommend this takeaway. The food was quickly cooked and there is loads left over - we've probably got enough for 2 meals tomorrow lunch as well :)

We were staying close by and placed a big order for delivery Saturday night (deliveries on a Saturday start 8.30pm) delivery was prompt I was contacted when it left so I could meet at reception. Food arrived hot was very tasty and not one thing was left over! Lovely service

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but felt I needed to. We are new to the village and thought we would get a takeaway delivered for a family treat. We were left waiting for 30mins over there time given (that wasn't really an issue thought it might be worth the wait) I was mistaken chill crip beef was burnt it was enable to eat and the chicken chow-mein was horrible and dry with mushrooms in it(more mushrooms than chicken.they also got are order wrong, even though they did read it back to us. So sorry to say we will never eat their again which is a great shame.

Wasn’t very happy with what I ended up with. I ordered a duck curry and what I got was an onion curry with a hint of duck. My bbq ribs that I had also tasted like bisto powder and not bbq sauce. All in all not happy with what I got and won’t be going back.
