The Kings Head
1 Silver St, CheddarWe visited The Kings ahead after walking the Cheddar Gorge trail, the staff are really friendly and made us feel really welcome. The pub is amazing, like a maze, with different areas. I recommend this pub to anyone visiting Cheddar, we absolutely loved it. We didn’t have food so can’t review this.

The White Hart
The Bays, CheddarSuperb pub! The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. I visited here on Friday with a colleague and a service user with work and the staff were absolutely brilliant! Nothing was too much for them and Alex was a complete star ! I will definitely be visiting again, we are already planning visits with other residents! The Cliffs, CheddarLovely, reasonably priced little café. The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable, considering the café is just 3 minutes walking distance from the entrance to the main cave. We had the soup of the day with the cheddar toastie and it was mouthwatering. Highly recommended!

Latches Lane Crossroads,, Draycott Road, Draycott Rd, CheddarWe read about The Cider Barn and popped by after our visit to Cheddar. This is a really interesting place to visit and is like no other pubs we have visited. There is a pool table at the back, inside seating as well as outdoor seating. We enjoyed our cold cider and lukewarm cider, and the various signs scattered around the pub. The crew are friendly too. This is definitely an interesting place that we will definitely remember for a long time.

The Cliffs, CheddarLovely place go eat, excellent waitress service, really good quality food is served here. They offer a full lunchtime menu, home cooked meals, light meals, afternoon teas and snacks etc. You can eat inside or outside all in all a pleasant experience.

7 Cliff St, CheddarWe decided to have takeaway and this ticked all the boxes to where we were staying.We found the menu from another reviewer and ordered a collection.All dishes were more expensive than we’re used to in Kent but the food was delicious. Especially the chicken chow mein and duck in peking duck.

The Cliffs, CheddarWhilst in Cheddar we visited for coffee/tea . We were greeted by a friendly staff member. Our order for the above was taken along with home made bread pudding which had a lovely cinnamon aroma too it, my wife acclaimed it as very good. A full menu of food is also available,a nice way to relax for half an hour to watch the world go by.

The Mousehole
The Cliffs, CheddarCame here on a bike ride as a group of 3, we parked our bikes behind the cafe which was good. Waitresses were friendly and helpful and we had nice food and drinks (I had bacon and egg sandwiches and hash browns). Service was quick and it was very good value. This is my new favourite cafe in Cheddar!

Cliff St, CheddarHad an absolutely brilliant Roast Dinner with a group of friends... I haven't had a roast since xmas and it was just amazing. Mushroom Wellington was delicious as were the roast potatoes and yorkshires. Would highly recommend and book a table to make sure you get a spot.Really great staff and obviously a great Chef
