Pleasantly surprised today , called in on off chance to enjoy the carvery - like mums home cooking . I asked for gluten free gravy and was offered a gluten free Yorkshire pudding - made my day thank you !

Lovely evening spent here for New Year's Eve. Locals and staff were really friendly and there was a great atmosphere. They had live music by Strum and Bass who were brilliant. Can't comment on food as we only had drinks.

Food is well above average for 'pub grub'. It's priced well and portions are hefty.Would recommend. Gardens are also nice for summer drinks.

Had a little gathering with friends to celebrate a special occasion and we are so happy that we did it at The White Cheddar. Emily and Alissa were amazing at decorating the room, preparing and organising an amazing buffet. We were well looked after and had a fun evening.

13 Angel linedancers booked in for lunch. We've never been to the White Hart before... Saw it online and read the reviews. We were staying locally so it was convenient. So much choice. We didn't have to wait too long and our food was served at the same time. Hot and delicious. The service was excellent. Over the weekend we all chose to dine there again and had a lovely sunday roast amongst other tasty choices. We dropped in to The White Hart often over the 3 days we were in Cheddar. Found it to be a very friendly pub.If you are in the area, we thoroughly recommend The White Hart... You won't be disappointed.Parking: Not many parking spaces, tho we managed to get one each time

What a lovely pub, the staff si friendly, atmosphere great and the food delicious. We had two meals in this pub one at lunch time excellent. Then on Sunday for Sunday Roast, top marks to the chefs.
Very nice pub. The locals add character to the pub. Good atmosphere. Friendly bar staff.Stilton and broccoli soup was very tasty but a little too thick. Prefer a runnier consistency. Went down well. Definitely worth a visit for beer and food.

Welcome stop off for lunch after doing the gorge walk . Thatcher’s cider and delicious food, both dishes were off the specials board and were lovely, the service was quick and friendly, definitely one to return to.
