Called in for Sunday roast, after 3:00 and were lucky there was belly pork left, it was excellent with crackling to die for. A big plus was the variety of vegetables perfectly cooked. The service was very good and of course location overlooking the channel.

Myself and Family visited for food yesterday Sunday 23rd March. All four of us went for a Sunday Dinner and none of us were disappointed, the food was amazing and the presentation was a very high standard.track and trace was obtained on arrival, one way in and one way out system in use, sanitizer on every table and toilets were very clean.the staff were brilliant they literally couldn't do enough for us.All in all, a very well run pub, brilliant staff, the food second to none, very save experience and a nice homely welcome from the start.thank you for a great experience I will be recommending you to all my friends and I will 100% be back with the family in the near future.

I tried to phone to order a Sunday Dinner takeaway on Friday 5th February 2021and after several missed calls the guy called me back and said he was very busy so could I please text him my order. I did this and requesting the price and how to pay. He didn’t get back to me so I texted him again on Saturday 6th February asking him to confirm my order and a time for collection. Again, no reply. I tried to phoning on Sunday 7th February but nobody answered. Disappointed. Wish I had tried somewhere else but it’s too late now.

Glad to see a local Pub doing there bit for nature and the environment. This has been like this for months. The only time the mess gets cleaned away is when there is a gale. The rhine at the back of the building is full of kitchen waste and containers.

Stopped here on the way to a night out in Clevedon, knowing it had a good reputation locally. The pub seemed lovely but was just about to change managers so the stocks were very low and there was no way to pay by card. We chatted to the new manager, who seems very eager to change things up and breathe new life into the pub. Looking forward to dropping in again soon.

Just had the most amazing homemade burger, better than I could make at home and definitely better than I have had in a pub for years . Thank you and safe to say I will be back . Great service in a warm and friendly local pub

From the moment we walked through the door I had one of those feelings. Said to the chap behind the bar we had booked a table !, he said ok sit anywhere you like the menus are up there, I ordered drinks a beer, quite a nice pint actually, and a bottle of Merlot. It turned out that the menu was on a board and extremely limited, 5.50 for a starter and 9.90 for mains. I chose a Sweet Chilli Ancini and we ordered two Beef Stroganoffs for mains. I wish I had photographed the three small rice balls that came with a few leaves however they tasted ok but such a poor portion. Meanwhile my wife had examined the wine and found it had a Tesco label on it and was a wine that at Tesco was priced at under a £5, we were charged £13.60 !!!. The Stroganoff was bland and tasteless, I had to leave at least half of mine whilst my wife, brave thing, soldiered through and ate most. The service was awful and the chap behind the bar brusque and quite rude in hbis manner.

We went to the 'Drum' without expecting to much as we had been disappointed on a previous visit, not so this time, the menu is not (yet) extensive, but there is all most people would need. I had lamb and my partner had beef, both were cooked fresh and served hot. The atmosphere was fine, if a little quiet due to not a lot of diners, but we were quite early, the atmosphere in the adjoining bar was very good indeed. The service was very good also, on a personal note, I don't like staff to wear jeans if they are serving in a restaurant

We were looking for a place to have dinner and this looked quite pleasant from the outside. The sign outside said the food was locally sourced which seemed nice. On our arrival we were told we had to order our drinks at the bar and we'd be shown to our table. There appeared to be just the one barmaid/waitress. We ordered drinks on the assumption we were going to be eating. We were eventually taken to the restaurant area and first impressions were pretty shabby to be honest. The menus were printed pieces of paper. The menu was fairly rudimentary and not very imaginative. Looking round we discovered the table next to us had half a dozen toilet rolls on it. I'm not sure if this should have been a warning but we waited for the barmaid/waitress to return to take our order. It wasn't busy. Just one other table when we entered. When it came to ordering, I asked about a particular dish and was told one of the ingredients was unavailable. Long story short, a great many items on the fairly basic selection were not available including cheese! I had by now given up and decided not to order and after a couple of minutes of my friends decided there wasn't enough choice for them to choose from either so we finished our drinks and left. It really was a disappointing experience.

Nice place with friendly staff, which does create a nice atmosphere. But Sunday lunch menu very limited. Roast dinner (3 meat choices)was the only option, meat was ok but parsnips were not cooked, roast potatoes were only just cooked. I would return for a drink but not for food.

Went here one evening for a meal as a group of four. The place wasn't busy at all and as far as I could make out, we were the only ones eating. The refurbishment is great, I didn't go here before, but the others has been many time and it was a vast improvement. Service was fine and the waitress was reasonably attentive. The food came in good time but frankly, it was just "OK", really nothing special and certainly not what I imagined it was. It was a cheap eat I guess, and we did have a dessert. Would I go again, unlikely given some of the alternatives around that area.

Went for Lunch Pub was empty and had the pick of the tables . They have a new chief who had just started portions were enormous (To be honest way over the top) and a little slow in service I don't now what it would be like if it was busy. Food was piping hot and well presented great value for money. Sad not to se more cold sandwiches / plowman's lunch on offer

Basic pub, not really especially pleasant in any regard. Food is gallopingly ordinary at best. In fact gallopingly ordinary might just sum the whole place up. Not awful, just not in any way a compelling place to eat or drink.
