“Stopped here for lunch, what a wonderful find! Lovely welcome and a comfortable atmosphere. I had Ham Egg and Chips which unusually comes in large or small, I went small as I was driving some distance home. It was an ample portion and prepared with great care and skill, what a treat! Without a doubt the best traditional pub grub I’ve had for a long time.Parking: I parked in town and had a lovely stroll down to the pub.”

“Visited Woods for the first time whilst staying in Dulverton. The service was excellent. I called to make a reservation the week before and told them I was vegetarian, GF and Lactose free and when I got there was handed a menu prepared just for me! Very impressed by this as I normally would choose whatever I could off of the menu. Also they have an extensive wine list where you can order any of them by the glass. They staff are very attentive and the food delicious. The pub itself is very cosy. I will definitely visit again one day.”
