“Lovely cakes Inc vegan and gf. Breakfasts are quality and decent size. We had the house breakfast, avo toast and sweetcorn fritters. All delicious. Very very fast service. Staff are very friendly. Definitely worth the price. There is a shop with nice gifts and a gallery. Highly recommend.”

“Very good food. A bit pricey but actually I don't mind that when the food is really good. I had a fantastic burger with peanut butter in it. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had a Korean chicken burger, which he said was also fantastic. We had fries and deep-fried gherkins to share. It was plenty of food for two. Looking forward to going back again.”

“The location is brilliant and all the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. There was a really good atmosphere in the bar as well.The breakfast was superb.The rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy and good value for money, we had the family room which slept 5 with no complaints. A little tired in the rooms but nothing that would put us off coming back an staying again.”

“Having a short break away from north Devon.Went for an evening meal after reading good reviews, of the wool pack, very friendly and I must say the best food for my partner and I that I have tasted away from home cooked food, in years, very reasonable prices, we will return just to sample more of their great grub.A big shout out for Ash the chef, who obviously cares deeply for what he produces.?Rooms: Did not stay, will definitely consider staying next timeFood & drinks: Superb food”

“The kitchen wasn't on because of staff shortage which is a shame because i wanted to try some of their food. The menu looks interesting. Maybe some other time. Drinks menu is okay, all the basic stuff. Atmosphere was a bit lacking but then again it was Friday midday.”

“We had a party of 9 adults and 6 kids. They emailed asking us to pre order from their normal menu which was great and suited everyone. When we arrived they had reserved a room for us which was brilliant. We were greeted in a really friendly way, the service throughout (both drinks and food) was great.
