My friends and I tried several bakery items which are ok. We think the cookies and cinnamon bun are good. The good rating is for their coffee. It would be a good place for a chill when you are in Frome.

We were greeted by welcoming staff, great selection of drinks and the best pork belly we’ve ever had!We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the entire place (especially the toilets) the atmosphere is the best we’ve experienced in the area.Exceptional food for a reasonable price.Friendly staff, clean cosy environment, log fires and dog friendly.If you’re looking for a homely vibe with a relaxed friendly atmosphere this is the place to go.Will definitely be returning time and time again!Update** had such a lovely evening returned the following day for a late lunch, had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and the pie and mash. AGAIN, fantastic service, delicious food, got chatting with other patrons and the staff and all in all just a really lovely evening.Have booked for Sunday Roast.Even though a 20 minute drive away. Will be our new local!Food & drinks: You HAVE to try the pork belly! Best I’ve ever tried!

Frome Kebab & Pizza plus
FromeWent here at the weekend after a few pints. Ordered a lamb shish and it was prepared within minutes! I asked how they cooked it so fast and the guy told me he was cooking it for his dinner.. Felt a bit bad taking his dinner, but that was great service. The kebab was very tasty. So much better than awful Charcoal Grill alternative. Also, my friend ordered chips and they were delicious!

Station Approach, FromeThe best scones ever! Light and fluffy yet still very much a scone. Also good selection of food at reasonable prices and what a view. It's possible to sit at the station and watch steam trains come and go. Highly recommend even if you aren't taking a trip on the train. Also right next to the lovely sandy Minehead beach.

Only had time to sample Thali but my mouth is still watering at the memory of it. Have a look at the website, great singing and dancing and they do so much for the local community. It’s fantastic he took the care to get new ingredients and made the sandwich on cleaned down surfaces for me to make the sandwich and ensured no contamination as much as possible. It was amazing, fresh, exotic herbs flavours, the Mushroom, Manchego & Thyme Croquetta for example was delicately spiced and melted in the mouth. The famous fired goat cheese did not disappoint. Seems on a Sunday in Frome there are few places to eat if you are looking for a few salads or healthier options. After finding a few cafés serving sandwiches and pies we found this Italian place and had a lovely lunch. The place was nice and clean, the service was good and the food was excellent woth lots of choice on the menu. We would return here and happily recommend it.Dietary restrictions: There is the usual pasta & pizza options as you would expect from an Italian but also meat, fish and salads suited to a low carb/diabetic friendly diet.

Only minor gripe is that sometimes the tables are taken up with individuals working on laptops with a coffee and it may be better to ask them to work on one table, in order to free up space for other customers

24 Keyford, FromeWe've just discovered the Crown Inn, such a brilliant pub with loads of personality. It's really cosy inside with great and unusual decor. A large courtyard garden with sparky lights everywhere. There is a restaurant on the other side of the building that serves the most delicious Thai food. Rich, who owns the place is the best host, and looked after us. Highly recommend the Crown.
