Pleasant, clean and uncluttered restaurant Polite and attentive staff, delicious and plentiful food attractively presented, offering good value for money. Worth the trip to the outskirts of town, no hassle with parking.

So disappointed. Paid £5 for delivery and was 15 minutes late- driver couldn’t find us so called us eventhough I pinpointed our location. As a result the food was cold with a dish missing. Spent £82 on this delivery. When I called got a really rude guy who told me the food couldn’t be cold- really? Can’t be bothered with rude people who don’t do their job properly. In short, shoddy service, cold, overpriced food and a rude owner. Never recommend.

Sadly not a great experience and won’t be recommending or using again. Food was late, cold and missing a dish. When I telephoned a really rude guy answered (am presuming the owner as he’s been mentioned for rudeness in other reviews). He rudely told me my food wasn’t cold and that he wasn’t late- maybe he can’t tell the time. I spent £82 on cold food with an item missing. Not good.

I only use this restaurant about 3 times a year and have done for 5 years I will nt be calling there again, when asked if my food was OK, I told him that the chicken was very dry (I had a chicken vindaloo), they did'nt seem to care and charged me full price. I WILL NOT BE CALLING AGAIN

My daughter and I had dinner here Saturday evening whilst visiting Bath, absolutely superb. Excellent choices on the menu, well priced, beautiful food, well presented, impeccable service all the way through. Well worth a visit, highly recommend
Food is ok, starter was pure grease. Mains came, barely even warm, one waiter was lovely however the rest couldn't understand what they were saying, Overall they wouldn't leave you alone, kept looking over and walking over. Wasn't a great atmosphere and would not return.

Not a single dish had a traditional Indian flavour. The main waiter / Owner always seems to be in a very rushed manner and loud and rude, and not taking his time. Please save yourselves a dissapointing experience if you like indian food as you won't get it at Jays Kitchen. I feel my money was wasted and would never go back here.

It simply does not get better than this. Consistently, the most delicious and reasonably priced curry et. al available in the area. UPDATE: as always, outstanding.
