Excellent service. The staff always offers good service. Food is good and pretty good portion sizes. Can be busy on a Friday night but still get quick service even if cooking to order.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor property with a disabled parking space right by the door.

Excellent fish, chips and jumbo sausages!!! Always good service!! Parking not always easy, but there is a car park not too far away

Can never fault the food here, fish is large and flaky and chips are a perfect mix of big ones and crispy bits

Consistently good.IF you've had a bad experience of this place, you've been VERY unlucky.

Large cod and chips, plenty to share between 2 of us.Cod was cooked to perfection and not greasy. Chips not so great, but probably the potatoes. (Not the cooks fault)Staff polite and welcoming.Nice and clean.A bit more expensive than other chip shops around, but you get what you pay for.I will return.

I am coeliac and never thought I would taste fish and chips like this EVER. Absolutely delicious, better than before I was gluten intolerant. The service is always with a smile and I look forward to ordering and being treated with care and respect. FIRST CLASS at Paul's Plaice!!

Frome is spoilt for good chip shops. Unfortunately this is not one of them

I go in every Friday for our tea and it's always brilliant. The staff are friendly and welcome you with a smile even when it's very busy and they are doing multiple jobs. The wait time even when busy isn't long, especially as I order plaice which is freshly cooked to order every time. The best Fish and Chip shop in Frome wouldn't go anywhere else xxParking: Most times you can park in the car park just outside. If not at a very busy time you can park over the road.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get into the shop. If the doors are closed someone will always help you to get in.

staff really nice, they explained the difference between chips and fries (fries are the skinny ones?)

Just had our first visit to Paul's Plaice. The most delicious fish and chips we've had for a long time. The batter was perfect both light and crispy! Will certainly go back! Highly recommended ?
