Lovely place serves a variety of choices of bakery, simple meals, coffee, and tea. I have been here twice for bakery and coffee. My friends and I tried several bakery items which are ok. We think the cookies and cinnamon bun are good. The good rating is for their coffee. It would be a good place for a chill when you are in Frome.

We came with our 2 year old for a spur of the moment lunch. I'd been to the church cafe before and told my husband we could eat inside a nest which would be fun for our little one. There's also lots of toys as well so plenty to keep little hands busy. Not only is the cafe beautiful, the food was fantastic. At first I ordered soup as I thought it was the best gluten free option for me but my husband felt I needed something more and ordered me the beef stew which I didn't see on the menu before. I had to ask the staff to pass on my compliments to the kitchen because it was honestly the best beef stew I had had in a long time. Amazing flavour and the beef was so tender and delicious. If it's on the menu when you go, I can't recommend it enough. We had such a lovely time, that I decided to buy a card with a picture of the church from the art shop so that I could write to my mum and describe our day out - but I didn't mention that the stew surpassed hers!Kid-friendliness: All the facilities you need to keep kids entertained including a play area with toys, baby changing, and kids options on the menu.

Happened on this cafe by chance. Had one of the best bowls of soup ever, with outstanding home-baked foccaccia.

Consistently good, fresh and healthy food options and great pastries. Staff are good if sometimes a bit grumpy but no more than is normal for the UK. Lovely venue, with a lively, family atmosphere. We eat here at least once or twice a week. Also have a great self service counter selling their incomparable bread.

Wow what a find. Lovely cafe in a church. Amazing organic food. Great place. Will be returning soon.
We visited for the first time today - this during our first visit to Frome. We were made to feel welcome with our dog who is partially sighted; deaf, aged 14 and was transported in a dog buggy. A very friendly but professional female staff member served me. Nothing too much trouble and engaged in conversation with me about the running of the cafe/bakery. The Shakshouka was excellent! I purchased additional bakery items to take away including Al almond based pastry called a Blockley (I think). I thought I would share with my partner this evening but have already eaten most of it. Superb! Thanks for a great experience in a lovely Somerset town. We will return.
