Can you please explain why I paid £14.95 for haddock and chips, but had to pay £1.75 for a small pot of tartar sauce? My companions paid £10.95 for fish cakes and they were give tartar sauce in included in the price!!Who has ever heard of having fish and chips and having to pay for tartar sauce, a complete rip off, what a shame

First time there. Yes, definitely a hidden gem. Definitely going back for lunch and their excellent farm shop.

Well, a day after visiting this lovely farm cafe and shop and enjoying our visit here whilst on our family holiday.Reality hit this morning that the cafe had short-changed us of £30! And yes, I know we should always check the change, but with the cafe heaving and 2 small boys running about, we had our mind elsewhere.My husband has since phoned the cafe to be spoken to rudely and basically called a liar without them actually checking the system! Just a we will get back to you by email!So although the farm shop and cafe were lovely, including the food, and probably should have been a 5⭐️ reviewDue to incompetent staff, it's barely worth a 1⭐️

Great farm shop and the food is delicious the burger was delicious and the bacon is the best I have had highly recommend to anyone

Fantastic place. Great food to buy and to eat there, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. I'm temporarily in a wheelchair and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Plus some remembered me even though I've not visited in a while due to illness. That's true customer service.

The food was acceptable but considering the cost I would encourage anyone thinking about visiting whiterow to reconsider their optionsas equal or better quality food available elsewhere locally and at a much better price than this.Note to owners!The fish cakes should be renamed Maybe just to potato cake as I feel it is far more suited to the reality
