An absolute gem! Had the best time at no.57 - started with a delicious cup of coffee by the cosy fire followed by a mooch in the vintage shop upstairs. The ladies running the shop and cafe were delightful too. Thank you.

Great place for lunch with friends. Beautiful home cooked food served with love and care. Gorgeous little yard too where you could be in Greece or Italy or anywhere similar which catches the sun. Fab atmosphere/ lovely staff/ quirky interesting place. Please don’t ever change.

Had the most delicious lunch here today.....quite a varied menu plus usual beverages and lovely cakes. Meal freshly prepared so had to wait some time for the food to arrive but that's not a problem in an easy going, relaxed, and interesting building. Staff very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stopped here by chance to break up a long car journey with our little baby - we received a really warm welcome and a delicious lunch.

Delightful people, wonderful food, amazing cake. Someone wrote, best place in Ilminster for lunch. Should be, best place for miles around. Only slight drawback, no alcohol (but I think you can BYO)

It gave me the creeps. It was like eating in a dirty old house.

The food here is so different and always very enjoyable. Great selection for veggies too.

Lovely lunch at #57 on Wednesday. We sat in a beautiful little courtyard at the back of the antique shop, so lovely. Food was absolutely amazing. I had chicken shawarma and my husband had the lamb kofta, both came with delicious salads and dressing. So, so yummy, worth the slight detour off the 303 and the little hike up the hill from the centre off town. Staff were so friendly considering how busy they were. Honestly, one of the best meals we’ve had for a long time, so tasty and very healthy. 10/10. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Genuinely delicious in all aspects! First time I’ve actually managed to make it in time for Lunch service… the food is beautiful, even when taking away! Colourful, balanced and tasty. Along with the fact that it’s healthy enough to not make yourself feel guilty… ?
