Would highly recommend the Sunday carvery. Not only was the food plentiful and delicious but very good value too. As always Buddy, Kate and the team create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Bell at Broadway

We are staying locally and booked for a dog friendly table for Sunday roast and I put that our Labrador is a bit nervous and could we have table out of the way if possible. The pub is brilliant and the staff are absolutely lovely. That was the best roast we’ve had and we really appreciate the accommodation of giving us a table out the way so our dog was more at ease, thank you so much. When we’re in the area again, we look forward to visiting and will highly recommend to everyone.

Had a very tasty Christmas meal with friends at this cosy pub. Would recommend a visit to anyone looking for good food, attentive, friendly bar staff in a warm, cosy atmosphere.

Sweet Surprise

It's rather nice to be back here after so long (I last visited during my sixth form years, so to speak). Excellent food and drink, reasonable prices, quiet atmosphere. Perhaps I will come again, who can say? Bear in mind that car parking around the area is hard to come by, so you may have to account for that!

West Street Fish & Chips

Expats returned from Australia, hankering after good old English fish and chips! Boy they did not disappoint. Best fish and chips we had since touring the UK.. staff were super friendly, food portions were enormous and the taste was fantastic. Thanks guys.. we will see you next time we are in the country!

Annie’s cakery bakery Cafe

A great place for really good coffee and lunch after walking around the art centre. Service always comes with a smile and is prompt. The cake and panini are excellent and sensibly priced. Highly recommended.

Great pub, lovely staff and great pizzas.Sky TV and BT Sport's. Pool table and dart boards.Good selection of drinks too. Would defo come back again when in the area! ?

First time here and it's been an incredible experience. Service was outstanding, especially Emma, who ran food all night with a smile on her face and a spring in her step.Food was well cooked and quick for an excellent price.We came as it was quiz night and weren't disappointed with the atmosphere and friendliness all round.Very busy so possibly a bit understaffed but not going to mark down for that.Will definitely be visiting again.

Kebab & Pizza House

The food was smashing I had a chicken kebab wrap and was bigger than I expected, my chicken kebab wrap was wrapped up in paper and plastic bag it was so neatly wrapped it could have been a Christmas present. The shop was really clean and very busy but the service was excellent with very polite staff.

Delicious, Friendly, Fun. We had a birthday dinner celebration here. Everyone ordered something different and it was all delicious! Several members of our party have spent time in Indian and were impressed with the authentic taste. Restaurant decor was beautiful and the service was friendly and well-timed. We stopped here enroute from Portsmouth to Exeter Saturday evening for a quick Chinese. Food was excellent. Not sure what you do to the salt n pepper chips but they are the best we’ve ever had. I have just popped into the Horton Cross garage as I noticed that one of my car headlamps had gone.The 2 gentleman that were serving this evening around 2145 could not have been more helpful. They were both amazing. I was unsure which bulb to get. They new exactly which one it wasI was unable to get the bulb out and one of the gentleman took out the old bulb and put the new one in. I am so grateful for these 2 gentleman's support and kindness. Thank you so much

Jordans Courtyard

My family and I love this venue. In fact, I have coffee here almost every day. When I can, I bring my kids and grandkids because it's such a relaxing place where the staff treat us so well. The breakfasts are delicious, as are the cakes and scones. Lunches, too, are well worth a visit and the staff are so considerate. If you need to break your journey to the West Country, do it here. Greggs

Called into this Greggs site for a coffee and sausage roll on 22 Dec. It was very busy and the young woman behind the counter was obviously under a bit of pressure but she was friendly and courteous. A credit to your company.

Costa Coffee

Staff lovely and caring 3 cake delicious. Plenty of power sockets and WiFi connection points for those who need to use them. Good view of car parks so there's lots of light and your vehicle is easily visible from the tables in the dining area.Staff were busy, so tables took a while to clear and it wad a shame that one of the toilets was being repaired. The open toilet looked like it needed a repair so hoping it was on the to do list!Overall, nice place to come with a couple of minor issues to sort out.

Burger King

They s very sit was spoilt by serving the wrong burger, but corrected very efficiently. I was disappointed as ordered extra large Angus burger, went for onion rings as extra and a frozen lemon sprite. This was served as a chicken burger, just onion rings, no fries, and a frozen lemon sprite which I had already paid for a non frozen as part of a meal deal. So I had to pay £ 0.70 for onion rings, thinking this was extra to the fries, wring, then £1.50 for the drink I get but frozen, very poor value, but the burger got corrected swiftly at least. Ordering fries was an extra £2.89, learnt a lesson, order your meal deal and don't change from the deal and you are all good. Change and you are ripped off big style!
