Had lunch today, reasonably priced. Looked like frozen roast potatoes, extra cost for cauliflower cheese. Would have expected something better. Not very busy, still had to wait a while for food.

Quite disappointing, friend and I went for a Sunday meal, we booked for 2pm, we arrived 15 minutes early and ordered straight away, but the food didn't arrive until 2.45, very long wait. The meal was mediocre at best, very generous portions but unfortunately the Yorkshire's were still raw with almost liquid batter inside, the roast potatoes were soft and rubbery, and the cauliflower cheese was made with what appeared to be mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar. The staff was very friendly and the meal was reasonably priced.

Dog friendly stay with rooms out the back separated from the pub. Very friendly staff and good food provided for breakfast. Well cared for and looked after when it came to serving. Shame about the room. Black mould on every wall and the bed felt damp and had some mould on it too! Not to mention the hair in the bed. The shower overflowed everywhere when used. Yea and coffee provided with the kettle. Shame about the mould, hair and broken shower drain. Loved that it was dog friendly! However I wasn’t too sure how I felt about hearing the dogs bark coming from the kitchen.

We popped in for a lunchtime visit. Lovely food, friendly owner and sensible prices.Worth a visit.
Great pub - we spent a week in the area (the second summer in row) and also this year, the New Inn did not disappoint. Great food, friendly service, nice mixture of local and touristy customers. We enjoyed wonderful homemade meals and the great selection of beers. Highly recommended, I hope to come back soon!

Would highly recommend and will hopefully return one day.Rooms: Clean and comfortable, lovely little touches like bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits and toiletries.Food & drinks: Tasty homecooked food. Good selection of drinks from the bar.
