Somer Dining is in the Chocolate Quarter and is part of B Block Pizzeria. It is the quieter area of the Pizzeria Cafe diner. We had a very generous tea for six people with doggy bags to take home. There were delicate sandwiches, plain and fruit scones, real cream and raspberry jam plus red devil cakes and lemon drizzle cakes.

I visited somer dining 2 Thursdays ago for a little lunch with my husband. There was one young lady serving who was very polite and very attentive. I was surprised how small the restaurant had got from my previous visit before covid. The restaurant was the whole size on the room. Now only half and the cafe next door use the other side. When We first arrived there was only 2 tables. As it got to 13:00-13:30 the restaurant side was basically full and it was lovely atmosphere. It was still only the one young Lady who delt with being on her own very well. They must get a lot of regulars as she new who to help into there sits. On to The food… We both had the soup to start it arrive at a great temperature, was full of flavour and the bread and butter was very nice. I was surprised there was only 1 starter on the menu as I remember there being a much bigger selection before.. anyway onto the mains I had the TCQ beef burger which was massive, full of flavour and very nice. My husband had Salmon which he said was cooked perfectly and very testy. Overall very good service! The food was lovely and we will definitely be back! A massive thank you to the waitress I can’t remember her name I’m sure it began with a C but she was lovely explained the menu when we had questions, very attentive and she was very professional with the older generation too. Will definitely see you soon! And we are hoping you can open for dinners again like you use to.

I went to this restaurant a few times however the food standard is appauling. Their salad is under cooked specially the chickpeas in chickpea salad. The tuna baguettes I bought was so hard it hurt inside of my mouth. Today I almost choked on their avacado baguettes because of hard to chew bread. I am sorry to say but except for the coffee I absolutely didn't enjoyed my lunch there and had an awfully bad experience. This resturant needs to change their menu drastically specially as they are next to the offices and only place the workers can go for lunch. They don't have any hot meals and everything is absolutely bland and tasteless. The food is also over priced.

Visited for a birthday with a group of approx. 16 of us for roast dinner, my wife and I had beef, but it was very raw to the point of being fleshy and barely warm, I don’t mind this but my wife complained and got a very frosty response from the manager that she didn’t complain quick enough, it’s not really the sort of service you would expect from somewhere like that. The vegetable sharing plates and gravy boats were very few for the size of the table we had and we had to ask for more again and again. Personally I have had a lot of better roast dinners in Bristol for less money.
