Visited with a colleague and 2 adults with learning disabilities. Stacey, who served us, was very helpful throughout our visit. The food was great - very good value. Disabled toilets were clean and big enough to move around even with the wheelchair. Will definitely be back!

I took my daughters here for dinner this evening. 2 really lovely Ladies serving in there, very friendly and kind. My daughters enjoyed their food and it was all served in great timing. Thank You so much for making our evening so lovely, it makes such a difference when the staff are so bright and friendly ❤️

This is a really lovely family feel venue. Big spacious, also busy because the food is affordable it allows you to take the family out or just have a fantastic affordable priced lunch, dinner, has a great childrens area. The pub is huge. I have not been to a pub with so much to offer in the way of food. There is something for everyone and special offers every day . Burgers 2 4 1, Also 2 Roast dinners £15.99 kids eat for £1.. check it out. There are some really lovely meals and not shy on portions. They have also done some amazing fund raising events and so part of providing for the community . Its astounding this pub has raised so much money for charities. Stacey really stood out for me though with customer service she was just so bubbly and really amazing , she has a way with the cusomers which is so engaging. Nothing is too much trouble. Food came out in a timely manner and was hot. I like my food to be hot. Also i met the GM Andy , so kind and lovely, helpful with the menu, he recomended dishes for me and gave me options from the gluten free menu and offered to adapt whatever was needed if they could. Personally i was spoiled for choice. Affordable food for all the family , nice staff, pleaurable visit. Well done Andy , Stacey, and team . We will be back soon. Well worth the visit.

Further to my recent reviews of the Talbot Pub (Hungry Horse) - It is now so popular, that in the last week or so, the staff put a sign on the doors saying, "if you have not booked a table, you wiil not be able to come in" ! Nothing suceeds more - than sucess !

I was very pleasantly surprised. Although the decor was a little tired the food was excellent, good quality and value and the staff were all extremely attentive.

What a great pub, food was good value, service great and kid-friendly for our 6 year olds. Must give a special shout out to Stacey whose service with a huge smile was consistent and positive - she couldn’t do enough for us and really looked out for our kids - smarties and all. Thanks, Stacey!

We went there for Sunday lunch although it was nearly four when we got there. Unfortunately, they had run out of beef and the vegan option. The staff member Rich was excellent in recommending alternatives and was exceptionally helpful. He was also very friendly. The food was good and hot. I have written to Greene King in the hope that they may reward him somehow as I feel he deserves to be recognised. We have been on a previous occasion and he was very friendly and helpful then too.
