The hotel was very efficiently run. All the staff were very couteous and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there were a good range od cereals and fruit juices as well. The room were comfortable and clean and all had ensuite facilities. There was a small bar and a really well kept beer garden. We enjoyed our weekend and would certainly book again next time we visit family.

Excellent stay and the staff were perfect, plane was delayed so I missed the evening meal but the chef made me a sandwich for my arrival, I had to leave early for business but the staff went out there way to make sure I got breakfast before I left, I will definitely return whenever I'm in Bristol on business and I would highly recommend

Maybe it was the timing but the meals were not the best . A large party were served before us and meals looked amazing .ours how ever were not.. I had one squashed roast potatoe under a mountain of turkey and some very wet sweet potatoes..one carrot and a piece of broccoli Very disappointed in it. Beef meals were similar although they had 2 potatoes. £102 for a beer.glass of wine 2 soft drinks ..cauliflower cheese and 4 meals .£10 added to bill for service charge ..which I don't have an issue with but it was a disappointing meal on a family occasion.. Small meal big plate

Fist visit to old Manor House for Sunday lunch. Previous reviews state about restaurant area being need of a refresh however it’s clean, tidy and well organised. Food quality excellent, staff professional and friendly nothing was too much trouble. I have booked to return again already. ?

I don’t normally write reviews, however, my family and I recently visited the Old Manor House Hotel for Sunday lunch and we were extremely impressed. The food was delicious! The meat was tender, the roast potatoes were crispy, the veg was flavoursome and well-seasoned, it was all cooked to perfection and at an exceptional price. In addition to the great food, the staff were incredibly friendly and the service was excellent from start to finish, we couldn't fault any of it, it was a truly wonderful experience. Needless to say, my family and I will certainly be returning to the Old Manor House Hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely historic building (1609), shame it's so dated and tired. We were there for a special family get together birthday celebration, food was tasty at breakfast, birthday lunch and dinner with excellent service from one particular lady, however didn't find the owner particularly friendly or welcoming. The decor in the room, bar and restaurant in sore need of updating, even some plants or fresh flowers would help. Pretty garden and lovely to sit outside. The website makes the place out to be so much better than it is, expensive for what it is.

We stayed here for three nights and would recommend both hotel and restaurant.\\n\\nConvenient parking in the small hotel car park or two other areas for hotel guests on either side of the road to Tesco.\\n\\nThe room was fine, overlooking the garden at the back.\\n\\nWe ate in the restaurant on two of the nights and the food was excellent. Nice breakfasts including the option of fruit salad.\\n\\nStaff were helpful.\\n\\nGreat place.

We enjoyed a short stay booked at the last minute in a quaint, historic, small hotel full of character. It suited our needs perfectly. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, charming and engaging hosts and staff. Very pleasant and we've booked to come back in a few weeks.

We were taken here by our daughter and her partner for Sunday lunch, as they claimed it was the best Sunday lunch in the area. It’s clear she knew her stuff as did the owner and cooking and front of house teams. The food was absolutely superb, the service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome in a hostelry that was extremely busy and, sadly where a guest was experiencing a medical issue that required paramedics. ( although I believe with a satisfactory conclusion). The meals we had were all excellent, whilst the short-rib served to two of us and the roasts looked huge the plates all went beach empty. Would highly recommend.

Firstly the best bit. Thursday nights they have a steak dinner deal. Steaks for two AND a bottle of wine for £35! Usually I am scared of steaks because I am afraid of being disappointed. but ours were just perfect and the chips - oh the chips- they were to die for. Crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside - really something special. I finished with a rhubarb crumble that had the sweetest rhubarb ever. Real quality. Now for the hotel... This is an old building and has worked hard. But it is clean, very warm and cosy, nice bed and pillows, lovely deep bath (no shower - hurrah!). And very quiet too. Breakfast was good too. All cooked to order. My eggs were poached just right. But here is why I would go again - the staff. They all multi task and are so eager to please. We were made to feel really welcome. To sum up let's say 'unpretentious and very homely'. On the way home we got a call from them to say that we had left our phone charger behind but that they were putting it in the post. That is service for you.

A gorgeous Easter Sunday lunch with family. Lovely food & attentive staff. Three mouthwatering courses served by professional & courteous staff. Fab roast potatoes. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Real disappointment as the pictures of this olde worlds Inn looked extremely inviting. One person working the check in, bar & bringing your food was a sham but she did her best. I ordered Fish & Chips, it was awful sloppy batter & bland tasteless fish - I won’t be going back. No where to place your laptop so I had to stand to catch up on my email - what a joke! Oh and the toilet in my room was a sight to behold with a macerated that stunk the room out

Just had a night and i would say very comfy and clean, breakfast cooked to order and very fresh. The area was qiuet. The young lady who served us was very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended this hotel
