Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Had to send the steak back, as over cooked. Meal redelivered with correctly cooked steak and £10 knocked off the bill, as a gesture of good will. Fair play! Still not a great choice of vegetarian food though. Come on, be more imaginative!Vegetarian options: Salad, sweet potato lasagne, fake meat burger, or Thai green curry! Boring! Where's the Mac & cheese, vegetable pie, or jacket potatoes?

Took my mum for a mother's day meal with my 2 children and although they were quite busy the staff were absolutely amazing especially our server Mazie and the host Mike both are exceptional and I can't thank them enough for making the evening so enjoyable. The food was beautiful well cook and nicely presented and the price was very reasonable I will certainly be returning.Kid-friendliness: My 2 children are 6 and 12 both were very well looked after our server Mazie had my youngest laughing all evening.

Friendly staff, everyone enjoyed their food. Most had a roast and said it was good. I had Fish Pie and thought that was good also.

One of the nicest Whitbread Inns I've visited, pleasant and with a great staff, always efficient, attentive and polite. The saver menu before 6pm is great value. New items on the main menu, it's of a much better standard now, a few steps up. I can highly recommend the 'Club Sandwich' as well as the latest Sunday Roasts! Drinx are of an average selection, (it is a Whitbread owned venue), and it would be much better if more ales or guest ales were available, especially considering their clientele, that said, it's not the worst thing going on in the world today!Parking: I can imagine that if the pub/ restaurant is busy, then parking might be an issue? Although, there are more parking spaces behind the attached Premier Inn
I had dinner and breakfast here as part of my Premier Inn stay, and I would like to think of myself as a bit of a Premier Inn veteran as I use them a lot for work. This has by far been the best so far!! The food was great and service impeccable!! Thanks to all the team at The Hobbs Boat.
