Very, very friendly and social owners. They helped us so much and introduced us to the lovely owners of the Stag pub, helped find out that the shop no.29 was open on my birthday. Just made my

Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Absolutely perfect for our needs. Nicely decorated, spacious rooms. Breakfast was fantastic and staff lovely and helpful. Also very good at catering for my coeliac daughter - lots of gluten free options. Would definitely return if ever in dunster.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The 16thC Listed building has its quirks which made for some interesting maneuvering for the tallest of us but the rooms were spotless, abundantly supplied and overlook the High Street and opposite Reeves (see separate review). Amazing sleeps, comfortable beds and spacious enough despite being on the uppermost floor.Breakfast was the best, The Dunster Full English was perfectly proportioned and perfectly cooked, setting us up for each day. My daughter had a stack of pancakes with chocolate sauce as opposed to syrup and couldn't stop smiling the entire time. A choice of cereals, toast, crumpets, juices, granolas and an array of coffees and teas mean that your day really gets off to the best start. Both Tessa and George are wonderful hosts going above and beyond to accommodate their guests and I would absolutely stay there again. Our thanks to them and the rest of the staff who work so hard.P.s. spot the Robin who joined us for breakfast

We stayed here at the end of June. It was an unexpected last minute booking. We were so surprised with the beautiful room, it was a perfect size room for me, my partner and our daughter. She had 2 beds to herself which she was so pleased with. George has wonderful customer service. The 24hr access was a big thing for us as we stayed out late a few nights at the arcades on the sea front. Breakfast was amazing as well, pancakes was such a lovely treat. Honestly, do not have a bad word to say about The Olde House, it was lovely!! Would certainly stay again :)

Didn't stay in B&B, so cannot comment on the rooms, only the café side, very old house, with exposed beams, food was good and not expensive, service friendly and helpful.

We’ve done plenty of weekends away and it’s very difficult to tell what to expect from reviews and photos but this place is a proper little gem . From very friendly owners/staff to a beautiful , tastefully decorated room it was definitely worth 5 stars . The village of Dunster was not the cheapest place to drink and eat but this place was the exception. Breakfast was amazing and it was so good we popped in for a cream tea after visiting the castle. It was probably the best scones we had ever had, warm from the oven with lush cream and strawberry Jam . Don’t look elsewhere, please take our word , this is exceptional value for money and pretty much faultless .

A wonderful cafe/B&B in the heart of Dunster. George and the team made us feel very welcome during our stay. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable and we had great views of Dunster high street. A prime location for a Dunster get away.A great menu in the cafe that runs through the day, there’s a wide range of options and they cater for all. All of our meals were delicious. We will absolutely stay here again!

Right in the middle of Dunster. The entrance is off the yarn market through the double doors and up the stairs. Good breakfast in Tessa's tea rooms. Lovely comfortable bed, enormous bathroom with bath and shower. Parking outside if you get a space or in the village car park which is a few minutes walk away and is very reasonably priced.

Popped in for a cuppa before going into the castle. Lovely and traditional inside. Good choices on the menu.

Stopped for coffee and food today and were really impressed. The Panini's were amazing! I had the Stilton and Bacon and my Fiancée had the brie jam and Chilli jam. They were so so good! Service was great too. The guys were really welcoming.100% recommend this place. It was lovely.
