The kebabs from here are wonderful. I had a Doner wrap and my Husband had Chicken. All very tasty and we would definitely return. Ryys and Jeff were really friendly and we had a good chat with them. Looking forward to visiting again one day!

Dined in under new management for the first time for years...excellent service...excellent food..very happy with the price. My choice on the evening was chicken curry and boiled rice.Returned for a chicken curry and boiled rice takeaway about a month kater.... price excellent...service excellent.... but this ain't the same dish. No way. Spicy...tasty...a bit runny... definitely NOT what I was served in the restaurant.We WILL be returning to the the restaurant armed with a pre ordered takeaway to prove our point.

I visited Faustos with a group of family and friends and we were highly impressed.All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, they were able to amend dishes as requested.Anna was also amazing and bought in vegan Prosecco and cheese especially for a vegan member of the party. She explained the menu clearly and that they could amend pretty much any dish to be vegan.Everyone in the group thought their meal was delicious all vegan/ vegetarian and meat eaters!We couldn’t thank Anna and the team enough for their hospitality and look forward to visiting again when we are next in Minehead.Vegetarian options: Pretty much any dish can be made vegan!

As I have a Construction company with many men who work for me in the butlins Family holiday park.I would just like to say. How impressed ,How I have been made so welcoming from the staff that work in the Brewer's excellent. Team. Who will work well together? And go above and beyond customer expectations. Especially, Helen, she is an exceptional woman. We had the best fish and chips from The Cod Shop on Saturday evening. We weren’t that hungry so had two small cod and one chips, still plenty for two. The cod was excellent, very fresh with light crispy batter. The chips too were excellent, not the usual greasy mush you get from some chippies! Will definitely return on our next visit to Minehead.

We stopped here for a pot of tea and a coffee, with no expectations as we'd just stumbled across it on a walk, but so glad we did. I had a flat white that was perfect, and served in a lovely decent sized mug. My partner had a pot of breakfast tea which he said was really nice. The chap who served us was really welcoming and clearly took pride in serving up drinks that people would enjoy. Great customer service, perfect drinks and an idyllic setting, couldn't ask for more. Lovely little cafe in the center of minehead. I stop in for some lunch on a Friday at 12:20.The tea was good. My choice from the menu was the BBQ chicken which comes with loads of chips and cheese. It was lovely and generous portion for yhe money so very Happy, especially given that the waiting staff were very pleasant and friendly.It's not a particular high class of place. But I my eyes the basic done well is all you need.

Charming gem in a delightful Medieval village, Hathaways is a small intimate restaurant. Sandro is out back cooking and Kasia is out front so just the two of them. We last visited 5 years ago so we were delighted that theyd weathered the lock down. Food was again beautifully cooked and imaginative. Only 4 or 5 tables and dinner only weekdays so best book.

Very nice, very welcoming and very accommodating when we booked as I mentioned having two large dogs and the staff gave a table in the corner so the dogs were out of the way. The only let down is that the meat for the Sunday lunch seemed like it had been microwaved to heat it back up. The pavlova was unbelievably good and obviously made in house rather than bought in.

We had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights at The Great House.Sheila and Bruce were fantastic hosts and full of local knowledge and information and couldn't do enough for us.You'd be happy staying in any of the 5 rooms they have to offer, all are very stylish and in keeping with the property. The food is also very good, from breakfast to bar meals, and they also do a three course evening dining experience.In the evening you can spend time in the lounge and bar. It's a lovely wood paneled room with wingback leather chairs, soft lighting and background music.I would highly recommend spending time at The Great House.
