We arrived unexpectedly because of major roadworks un the area of the airport. We found this treasure of a pub/restaurant/hotel by accident. We were given an excellent by the proprietor. The fiod was good and timely. There was never a rush to make our unbooked table available. We got helpful advice in how to avoid the diversions due to extensive roadworks. Excellent range of AF drinks. Bit pricey but so good to have a choice. It'd be nice to have AF wines and fizz served by the glass. But loved the zero IPA and will be back for more!

Very Covid safe-drinks, cutlery etc brought to your table on a tray for you to remove avoiding additional handling by staff. Tables spaced out really well. Lots of hand sanitizer available. Food was excellent (Sunday lunch), well cooked and presented. Professional and friendly staff who have obviously been well trained.
