Went on a quiet day. Did not wait long for our food so ok. We have had days when food took 45 minutes from order but If you want freshly cooked food you have to make allowances.Parking: Can be difficult on busy days.

The food, as always, was exceptional. Great selection and quality ingredients. Well cooked and tasty. Portion sizes average but quality trumps quantity. Considering the venue was fairly quiet, the service on this occasion was slow. Sure this was a one-off as previously it had been good. Will see when we go back next time.
Lovely Sunday pub lunch, I highly recommend the Ale pie, mash and greens, it was gorgeous and my wife said the beef roast was also great. Anyone who goes to watch Portishead Town Women's team must go there it's so nice ???

Very nice pub and is overall very nice. Only critique is that the bar staff serve all the locals before getting to people that have been waiting for ages. Locals come up to bar and get served instantly over people that have been waiting for 10 + mins
