42A High St, Portishead, BristolIn the evening this becomes Dapurkayu pan Asian cuisine. Wow, fantastic food at great value, lovely chef/ host, different flavours from a Thai or curry house. We had spring rolls with a chilli dip, chicken satay skewers as a starter, beef noodle curry in a fantastic broth and tofu noodle bowl with fresh veg and two roti to die for. Food was very hot, fast service and a fun atmosphere. £38 for the two of us. We eat out in Bristol a lot and this was the best we have had for months and the price was just a bonus. Support this young man, you won’t be disappointed

The moment I entered the restaurant, I was struck by the luxurious and welcoming ambiance that surrounded me. The environment was so pleasant that I immediately felt at ease, and the staff's warm and hospitable nature only added to the overall experience.Speaking of the staff, it was evident that they were incredibly well-trained and knowledgeable about the menu, as they provided us with excellent service throughout our meal. I was also delighted to find that there was free parking available within the restaurant area, which made my visit all the more convenient.When it came to the food, my kids and I were blown away by the delicious flavors and aromas that we experienced. The Chicken Tikka was an absolute hit with the little ones, while I personally fell in love with the Fish Tikka, which I tried for the first time. We also tried the Bhindi Bhaji and Tarka Dal, both of which were cooked to perfection and complemented by the soft, plain Naan.Although the food portions were slightly smaller compared to other restaurants, I must say that the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant was quite busy when we visited. Overall, I would definitely recommend a visit to Spicy Aroma to anyone looking for a luxurious dining experience with delicious food and excellent service.

Nothing was too much trouble and they were all so happy, polite and friendly. It really made our experience that much more special and we were very grateful to them. That sets the standard for an excellent range of meat ….Sunday Lunch..Particularly the Turkey Crown…and an extensive range of vegetables and deserts (Knickerbocker Glory…highly recommended). All the staff stand out and make you feel special.. Zoe at the bar, The delightful lady who only works on a Sunday …but all the staff without exception who add to the occasion . Names would add value but our review includes every member of staff …you are all special See you Sunday…Table 33!

59 Newfoundland Wy., Portishead, BristolPub food but boutique-ish presentation and portions.I opted for the steak and tangle foot pie, which was great. The cabbage was lovely and the mash was good.The only disappointment was the portion could have been slightly bigger for the mash and cabbage.The atmosphere was good and the place was full.We went on a Tuesday and it seems this is the weekly bingo night and a lot of the tables were booked from 7pm onwards, so keep this in mind.

Wyndham Way Retail Park, Wyndham Way, Portishead, BristolFriendly service and food is always good. Every now and then items can be missing from the takeaway bags when handed over, so I always make sure to double check and staff are quick to sort the issue out. Love having affordable takeaways in our little town for those night when you need something quick and easy! I would love if you would consider a delivery option, or even using deliveroo to make it a bit more convenient! ThankS guys x
