Wow!!!! Not sure where to start.....damp, smelly, dirty. Hardly able to converse with staff due to language difficulties. Slow service, cold mediocre food....won't be returning!

We had a surprise 60th birthday for my girlfriends mother, and it was absolutely fantastic Harry and his staff were out of this world, we arrived a bit late to set up the decorations and with out asking them Harry's young staff stepped in and set it all up beautifully! And the food, i was expecting your usual cheap party food but wowThe freshly made sandwiches and 48 hour fermented pizza dough was the best I've tasted, and all local ingredients the owner Harry came from London and is putting Bristol on the map absolutely amazing ?Thank you to the team at the Jolly sailor so much for making the night so special ?

Such a brilliant place to stop if you're passing or out for a walk. The staff were so so lovely ( especially with our pooch who got treats) and the food was fab, will definitely be going back! ? ( The last photo was part of the walk and not the Jolly Sailor, as most of you know he loves mud, water and more mud...)

The manager/owner had a very nice chap lit fire for us. Sad to hear about flooding but did not effect service. Gravy a bit thin but roast lunch very good

Just finishing a wonderful evening birthday party. Staff are wonderful, food was lovely and the atmosphere is brilliant. I can recommend it ?

Lovely pub for a drink. Stopped off after a walk. Food is very good. Enjoyed the baguette. The only thing was the bread was a little chewy but no problem otherwise.

Stop for a coffee, my sugar level was low so I had a chocolate bar I brought with me, I got told off for eating it, we were being watched

Very very poor service and food. Nothing like what the website shows. Very disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone

Everytime I have been to this amazing pub/restaurant the quality of service has been exceptional and the food is divine. The chips are to die for and the pie in particular is a stand out meal, definitely recommend! The fish and chips are also amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like a quiet and peaceful meal out with a good view this is the place to come to!

Every time I have been to this pub I have been impressed by the standard of food, in particular the homemade pie and fish & chips are delicious. Best steak and Guinness pie, the crispy delicious chips are to die for and the fish is cooked to perfection. The staff are always friendly and it is always so quiet. I feel this pub needs more recognition for their amazing food! Come try the pie everyone! You will not be disappointed ;) It isn't the nicest interior but everything else makes up for this!Parking: Enter reg inside

Lovely little place, in a beautiful location. Cant fault the food and service, but the day we went there was no milk and it felt like the place would benefit from a spruce up!
